Once you have a JP1 Cable and the IR program, you have everything you need to begin programming your remote via JP1. To do so, you should do the following:
· Connect your JP1 remote to your PC via the JP1 Cable.
· Start the IR program by double clicking on the IR.exe program executable.
· Select the ‘Download from Remote’ option from the Remote menu.
Once you have done the above, IR should download your JP1 compatible remote’s existing programming and display it on the various tabs in the IR program.
