Once you have found a CCF file which looks like it could control your device, you should do the following:
· Download the ccf2efc program from the Programs folder in the Files section of the JP1 Users Group.
· Download the ccf2efc-readme file from the Programs directory of the Files section of the JP1 Users Group.
· Download the CCF files from the Remote Central website that you wish to decode.
· Read the Readme for the ccf2efc program to learn how to use it to decode the CCF file.
· Run the ccf2efc program to decode the CCF file.
· Finally, you will need to create a device upgrade from scratch. Instead of using the information from signals learned from the device’s original remote, you will use the information in the file produced by the ccf2efc program.
Were you able to successfully use the ccf2efc program to decode the CCF
file you downloaded from Remote Central?
No, there was a problem when attempting to use the ccf2efc program to decode a CCF file.
