Pierced Ear Girl
I am now a pierced ear girl. On earth that was not such a big deal. I had three
piercings in each ear. When I was stripped after being brought here, the
earrings were taken away and the holes rapidly healed closed. On earth I did one
piercing myself, one at the mall and one at a tattoo place. He took me to a
leatherworker. My head was held quite still and an awl punched a hole through
each lobe rather than a sterile needle or a piercing gun.
I did not think much of it when he had it done except that the place and the
tools seemed rife with potential infection. But others notice. Girls have said
things. Sneering comments from girls, graphic comments from Masters. He told me
free women here never pierce their ears. Only slaves.
Several days after the piercing he replaced the thin silver wire with hoops,
also silver, each bearing a painted bina bead - one red and one teal. They match
the bracelet. I have not said so to anyone, but I like them. I stand before the
mirror, turning my head to look at the hoops and the glint of silver against my
skin.
He said I am to wear my hair tied high and away from my neck, shoulders and
ears. He wants everyone to see my ears and the collar bearing evidence of his
ownership. To my surprise, I am proud to do so.
