labyrinth reflections amaze me

stones and gravel outline a maze-like design on the ground in a clearing of the redwood forest, a short hike from our cabins.  as we walked in, in silence, we meditated on what we aspire for.  we wound along the path that spiraled and twisted until we reached the center.

as we walked back out, we meditated on what we were going to release.  i had stood in the center for a long time, feeling blessed and grateful for the space and for all my dear friends who show me how to walk the path (i love you!).  i also lingered there, questioning the next step.

as we walked out, we meditated on what we were going to release.

listening to footsteps crunching gravel comforted me.  no matter where we are on the path, no matter when we start or if we stop or what our pace, we are never alone.

and so, i release fear, i release false evidence appearing real.  and with that, step closer to authenticity, truth, and spirit.
i aspire to be a reflection of those around me
i aspire to be a reflection of those around me
i inspire to be a reflection of those around me
the latin root of inspire means to breathe in
so i breathe
deep
i let go
release fear
and reflect
those around me
