| As I have said, there are two topics of study which I really enjoy: relationships and theology. Of the second topic, the area I enjoy studying the most is Calvinism. This will be a surprise, no doubt, to those who knew me in high school. I, like most people, was raised Arminianist. I didn't know what Calvinism was until college. Before that, I had barely ever heard the word Calvinism, except for a few rare times in church, and then it was always spoken of in the tone that people reserve for when speaking of something they consider contemptible and loathsome. I understand the way Arminianists think. I was an Arminianist for most of my life. I understand their arguments, because they are the same arguments I used to use and fight for as being the truth. Therefore, I know that most Arminianist are going to disagree entirely with what I have to say here. Oh well. It's my page. =) Here is A Word To Those Who Take It Upon Themselves To Write Against Calvinism. On a final note, I am a Calvinist, not a Hyper-Calvinist. For those of you who do not know the difference between the two, I have included a page dealing with the topic. |
