Some of you have met, some have not. But here are the faces
of some of the dearest folks on earth. Might even find your own picture
here. If you don't like the picture I have of
you...send me a new one!
I pondered over the order to arrange your pictures and came up
with NO answer, so here you are "in no particular
order". (That phrase rather describes
the way I live my life, it seems! ha!)
This is Audrey and Joel.
(My daughter and her husband) This picture taken while on
vacation in Costa Rica in July of 2001. And yes, they are as
happy as they look. Married 15 years. Dr. Joel teaches at
Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff,Az. Audrey has her National
Qualifications in American Sign Language and is currently Mom to my two little grandsons.

David and Pamela Marcus. Dear Dear Friends. So Loved. David and Pamela live in Israel. When we visited there in 1999, we met for the first time. We had been email friends for some time before that. They showed us all over beautiful Isreal and then invited us to their daughters wedding on our last evening there. The most beautiful wedding I've ever seen. These people will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Darryleen Bray
On the left now is
Darryleen. My good
friend.
She lives in Phoenix now. We met when she moved in a few doors
from me with a kitty. I also had a cat that kept watch on the
neighborhood and the two felines used to have sleep-overs, first
at her house and then at mine. Tragedy has befallen both of the
kitties, but Darryleen and I still endure. She is one of these
people that just keep you laughing. I think it is the Oklahoma
lingo she uses to express herself or something, but she is a riot
to have around. January 2002...Update...She is
learning Hebrew! I'm so impressed! What would you like to see now?......... Return to Personal Page

James Bussell.....whata guy!
A dear friend that we met in Alaska in about 1978. James worked
with us for a year or so and then went on to bigger and better
things. He stays in touch, visits when he is in the valley and a
nicer guy just couldn't be found.
On the Right This
is my Mama and Daddy
the day they were married Nov. 25 1935. This is a terrible
picture of them, and its even worse over the computer. Still they
are beautiful in my eyes. I never saw my Daddy when he wasn't
smiling. Well, now, I'll take that back. He had to spank me many
times and He would say "This hurts me more than it does
you", and He wasn't smiling then. Daddy died in 1975. He and
mama grieved very much the loss of our brother (Everett) when he
was 16 and they never really recovered that loss. But, they are
all together now, even with Mama who joined them in 1993 and we
who remain look forward to all being together with them
again...maybe sooner than we think. Below are later pictures of
them. This picture of mama was taken just months before she died.
She was 80.

This is my sister and her
family. My sister (Eloise, we call her Tootsie) On
the Left teaches little ones to read at the elementary
school in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
Next to her is their youngest daughter Karen,
who is married, the mother of one (the youngest grandchild), is a
Beautician and lives in Kansas City.
Next is Mickey, the firstborn. Mickey is
an Engineer for the US Air force and lives in Oklahoma City
Oklahoma. He is married and the father of 4 little boys.
In the center (of everyone's attention...his natural spot) is David,
who is the youngest. This picture was taken on the day he
graduated from High School. That was 3 years ago. He is in his
3rd year of college now. Still single. Still doesn't know what he
wants to do when he grows up! (SMILE) David appears a little
darker than the rest of the family for good reason. He is of
Mexican decent. (Word is that we are Irish, Swedish, and
who-knows-what- else) But, he has been ours by adoption from the
beginning. He is very talented in song and dance and everyone
delights in David.
Next to David is Jo Nell. She is married.
The mother of two. Also a Beautician, and also lives in Kansas
City. As a matter of fact, the two girls live just across a
little lake from each other there.
On the far right is John, the Boss of this bunch. John
is retired from the Kansas Highway Patrol and is now a Judge in
the Courts of the State of Kansas.
Della Rae
is my younger sister,
partner in business, neighbor (she lives right across
the street from me) and best
friend. She has one son (Bryan) who is single
and lives nearby. She is talented in doll making, sewing, and
takes classes in Bookkeeping and CPA training at the local
Community College "just for fun"! She must be nuts!
That's me on the left, Della on the Right. We were in Las
Vegas to see Grace when this picture was taken. Della Rae looks
real happy to be there, doesn't she? You'd think she had just won
the jackpot, but if she did, she hasn't let me in on it yet!
(SMILE)
This is Penny.
She is a sister-n-law, more like a sister. Actually (although you
can't tell from this tiny picture) Penny and I look more like
sisters than my sisters and I do. Actually, we aren't related.
Our X-husbands were brothers. We used to walk on the beach
together and talk about everything under the sun. Now that she
has moved back to Arizona, guess we will just have to set under a
cacti somewhere for our good girl talks. On the weekend when this
picture was taken, another of my sister-n-laws and I had gone to
San Diego to spend the weekend with Penny. We were
makin-memories. Had such a good time....as always we do when we
are together. My life would not have been so full and good
without this dear
sister-n-law.
Next, On the Right is Bob and Freddie Kane.
This is some true friends. I've met most of the family now, and
am flattered to be so accepted into their circle of friends. They
are retired here in a beautiful home on a golf course in Mesa
Arizona.....all the way from Wisconsin! Bob has helped me a lot
with computer tips and techniques, and we stay in good close
touch via phone. Don't know what I would have done without these
friends in my life.
Last .... but certainly not least!...On
the Left is my friend Vicki Another dear friend. Vicki
and I met when I first got my computer. I was using Compuserve.
I'd found my way into their "Practice Form" and thought
messages were the greatest thing that had happened since the
phony express. She answered one of my silly questions and from
there we started "visiting" and became friends. These
computers are worth every cent I ever invested just to have found
a friend like Vicki. Vicki is in Pennsylvania so we don't get to
do a lot of matinee's together, but we share all our up's and
down's via e-mail and have met in person twice now. First I went
to Pennsylvania and having never been that far east before was
just so awe struck with everything she had to show me back there.
I met Abby, her mother a friend or two and enjoyed tomato
sandwiches every day. Nothing better than a vine ripened tomato!
haha Then, she visited me the next year and we took a little trip
to the Grand Canyon from my home in Phoenix. Needless to say she
was impressed with GOD'S WORK! Vicki is a Nuclear
Configuration Group Supervisor for a power company in
Allentown Penn. Some job for a young gal.......eh? We are all
proud of her. She started working there years ago and has worked
her way right up the ladder.
This picture was taken at the end of her visit to Arizona, when
we took a picnic to the lake and had such a nice day. This
was in the summer of 1997.
Tragically Vicki died of cancer on August 30 2006..
