well let's see....

    This comic is mostly for my own shits and giggles. I like being able to make pretty pictures (which have been getting sloppy i admit) ^_^;; but i try to make them funny so you guys can enjoy it too. i eventually want to start my other project that ive been daydreaming about for almost a year now. that is pretty much going to be a symbolic autobiography. fun stuff :) but for now im just going to be making a few random ones about my roommates and friends and the silly stuff we do. so long as it makes one person smile, it's worth it. that, and it's great practice on using little tricks in photoshop!

some notes on the creative process:

just to clarify things. if you're wondering who inspired me or what my influences are, check the links page. that's pretty much it. i scan in a pencil drawing of the characters and use photoshop to clean it up and make the pencil lines really dark (so they're more like pen) and then i color using Ian's technique. Ian is the artist behind MacHall, and has put up countless little tidbits to demonstrate how he does his magic. he even put up a video showing the step-by-step process! so it was really easy to learn, and it looks relaly good :) see my reasoning? and that, as they say, is that.
