Jo's Past time

Tire and tube repair kits have been around for some time.
One of the earlist dates I have is 1886.
Obviously, it was used for bicycles, not automobile tires.

These are some of what I call Cigarette shapes.

GOOD YEAR

This is a typical example of the regular shape.
It was put out by the Good Year Rubber CO.

This will be a contrasting example of some of the different shapes.
Remember these are all made by the Good Year Rubber CO.
You can almost date some of the cans by style.

You find NEAT go-a-long stuff with the collecting of patch kits.
Some of which are tubes, tire talc, tire liners, etc.

It is dated 1928 and made in St. Louis MO.
