Keynote Speakers
Ps Dianne Manusama
 |
Ps Dianne Manusama together
with her husband Bram, are Senior Pastors of
Melbourne Life Christian Church in Kew,
Victoria. They have 5 children, all of whom
are entrenched in the life of the church,
sharing their parents’ love for the Kingdom
and their desire to see it grow.
Dianne is passionate about imparting true biblical principles into the hearts of the believers and seeing them armed with the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. As a result of this passion, Dianne founded and is currently the Director of
Manifest and Principal of Melbourne Life’s Discipleship Ministry School. These ministries see a breakthrough in the lives of youths in true understanding of pursuing the Manifest Presence of God in powerful worship and equipped with the authority of the Word to minister to a broken world.
|
|
Dianne is a minister who moves in a strong prophetic anointing, with the power of the Holy Spirit, and sees breakthrough released into peoples’ lives. Combined with her love and understanding of worship, her love for people and her pastors’ heart, Dianne is someone who speaks deep truths into the lives of those who will listen.
At the King and I Freedom Conference ’08, we are privileged to have Ps Dianne minister to us on heartfelt topics closest to a woman’s heart; “Intimacy” and “Identity”.

Shirley Osborn
 |
Shirley Osborn is a wife and mother of four and headed up the “Steps Outreach Service” (SOS), a ministry of Concern Australia which she founded in 1985. Shirley worked in this program for nineteen years.
Shirley has been the
co-pastor, and now senior pastor at
St Martin’s Community Church in
Collingwood since 1998. Shirley was awarded
“Paul Harris Fellow” from Rotary
International in 1999. She received
Tattersall’s monthly and annual award for
Enterprise and Achievement in 2000. She is
on the Board of the School of World Mission
at Whitley Evangelical College. Shirley has
a certificate in Enrolled Nursing 1980,
Diploma in Youth and Community Ministries
1992, Advanced Diploma in Ministry 2000,
Bachelor of Theology 2001, and is completing
a Bachelor of Youth Affairs.
|
|
Shirley started up ‘SOS’ in response to the number of homeless young people who frequent the Central Business District of Melbourne, particularly Flinders Street Station. Her genuine care and compassion for these homeless youth and young adults is a 24/7 on call response, resulting in caring for over 300 youth over the past 19 years, often in her own family home.
In addition, Shirley has also worked part time with another Concern Australia program, known as Inside Out. Here she works intensely with young men as they are released from the Melbourne Juvenile Justice Centre, and still considered a high community risk.
Shirley is motivated in the work by her faith, and a strong personal belief that the ministry of Jesus was primarily focused towards the poor and the marginalised within society.
We are very honored to have Ps Shirley Osborn partner with us in imparting the spirit of “Destiny” and “Community” at our 3rd King and I conference.

Elective Speakers
Aster Tan
 |
Aster Tan is no stranger to the Life* Expedition community. Together with her husband, Ollie, they have both been deeply involved for years in “fostering” international students and relate very well to them since they are both in academia.
Aster pursued her majors in Psychology and Sociology when she was 32 years old and then a Masters in Applied Social Research. The Lord’s gift of a scholarship by Victoria University saw her through her PhD and she is now a sessional lecturer / tutor as well as a syllabus developer for Business Ethics in Victoria University.
With a passion for the older generation, Aster and Ollie regularly visit nursing homes to engage residents and bring life* and cheer to them through music and songs.

Susan Vong
 |
Susan is happily married for 26 years to John Vong and mother of 2 wonderful sons, aged 23 and 25. Her husband is currently based in Vietnam as consultant of the World Bank and is touching lives in the Indochina Region.
Since completing her Leaders Bible Training College in WCF (now known as City Life Church) in 1991, Susan has faithfully answered the Lord's call and been used in a myriad of ministries from serving as a Youth and Young Adults Pastor to helping establish an American not-for-profit foundation to bring the message of "Freedom to Belong" to ex-prisoners.
Susan brings with her many years of intimate relationship and experiences with the Lord, developed from years
|
|
spent on her knees and nights spent in tears over what God has taught and brought her through. She is gifted with wisdom and discernment that have been honed especially for women who struggle with insecurity, abuse, fear of failure, relational difficulties, marital breakdowns, and lack of knowing their identity in Christ and the freedom to belong and to be in relationship.
Susan is now based in Melbourne, and extends her market place ministry through Cafe Crema and Purvis Center for International Development to promote microfinance in Indochina for the under-privileged women, that is, having their freedom to live.
