Upcoming Events

Here�s a summary of what my calendar looks like. But for the most part, I don�t know what�s going to happen until it does! I�m learning to be flexible!

Nov. 8	We are having a Quince�era en Lombard�a. You`re asking, "what in the world is that?" Simply said, the custom here in Mexico is that when a girl turns 15, she leaves childhood and becomes a young lady, a "senorita". So they have a big party and it is a very important event in her life. So we are going to celebrate a quince�era en Lombard�a, bringing the worship team, etc. and having a ceremony. If you picture what a wedding is like, you`ll have a fair idea of what this is like.
Nov. 12-14	There's a 3-day missionary convention in Morelia. It's called, "Arando la Tierra". ("Plowing the Ground") I'm planning on going and really looking forward to it.
Nov. 16	Another quince�era! This time it`s a double quince�era. Azalia, Pastor Chacho`s daughter and my "little sister", along with Claudia, her best friend are celebrating the quince�eras together.
Nov. 22-23	Hombre a Hombre event. This is like Promise Keepers in the States and I understand it is an incredible time with just men. We hope to bring 15 or 20 men from church to Le�n, Guantajuato, where the event will be held.
Nov. 25-30	Mission trip to Oaxaca! We are planning on having a 2-day miniconference there, training and supporting the many churches down there. I believe this will be an incredible time of ministry.
Dec. 6-7	Tentatively, we are planning for another youth praise and worship night, with our 2 churches from Pueblo Viejo and Lombard�a as well as inviting other churches from here in Zacapu. It`ll be a time of praise and just getting in the presence of God.
Jan. 16	I`m heading up to TN for a month. I`m not exactly sure on the dates yet, but it`ll be from the middle of January `til the middle of February.
