| My name is Dora Jordan, married
18 year with three children. At the present time I am a full time student
at Technology Education College.
I started school on January 2, 2001. During the entire year that I have
been enlisted in school, I have been touched tremendously by certain teachers.

| I would like to talk to you
about a man named Mr. David Haynes. He was my programming instructor. He
taught me Visual Basic, C++. Not only did he teach me he motivated me, built
my self esteem. He gave more than what was required of a teacher. If it
wasn't for him I would not be where I am at right now. He's no longer teaching
at my school, he found a better job. In my heart he was there long enough
to get me on the right track to success. Thanks Mr. Haynes. |

Now I will like to tell
you about a man name Mr. David Tipton. He was my computer math teacher.
Mr. Tipton is no longer teaching at my school, but before he left he made
an impression on me. He was quite hard on me and expected me to give 150%
in everything. He was my mentor and I shall never forget him. With him
believing in me when I did not believe in myself I would not be where
I am at right now. Thank you Mr. Tipton.

| Next
let me mention Mrs. Carol Doss. I have never seen someone as beautiful as
her inside and out. She was my MS Office instructor and at the present time
she's still teaching at TEC. Words can not describe that lady. She was and
is still one in a million and if it wasn't for her I would have given up
long time ago. She has told me many of times that I can make it. The CIS
program is quite hard but as long as you have teachers supporting you and
letting you know that you can make it then you will. She has had faith in
me at the very beginning and I thank God for her. In my heart I feel she
is the best teacher in the world. She's humble, considerate, passionate,
and puts her students first. If you were to ever meet her you would love
her. Thank you Mrs. Doss for coming in my life I will never forget you.

| Next I would like to honorable
mention a man name Mr. Chris Nickell who is my Gen-Ed instructor. At the
very beginning I was intimidated by him, but now I understand him. He has
motivated and inspired me now I know that once I depart TEC I can, and will
make it. The style that he brings to the class is so smooth that if you
don't pay attention you will miss it. He has so much knowledge that for
the life of me I don't understand why he's teaching at TEC. I feel that
Mr. Nickel has been sent to TEC for a purpose. The purpose is to help every
student that will really listen to what he has to say. This man has the
power to work anywhere in the world, but choose to teach at TEC. So therefore
I put him in my list of best teachers. Thank you, Mr. Nickel for motivating
me and sharing some of your knowledge with me. |
| Let's not leave out my support
group Ms. Annette Kaple and Mrs. Donna Schaffer. They are my power supply
and I thank God for them. Both ladies starting working at TEC at the same
time, and are my instructors. They bring a double dose of power and I love
them to death. During my difficult times they both push me and help me.
When I need to run to someone they are there waiting for me. Thank you ladies
for keeping your arms open for me you're the best. |
