The Competition
The competition for this website is actually pretty non existent. I have never seen a website like the one I'm creating for any time, let alone St.george. I have been in the pickleball community long enough and known enough players who play it seriously to know that the only websites that exist for pickleball are the pickleball rating system DUPR, and websites which let people know about tournaments. There are also probably different facebook groups and things like that where people can find groups. However the idea for this website is to combine everything that pickleball in St.George has to offer into one website, so it's a hub for pickleball in St.George. Visitors and people who live here alike can access this website when in St.George and find groups to play with, tournaments that are coming up, and other information like places they can go play with friends.
I didn't know what else to put for this page since there really isn't much competition for this website, and I'm trying to create something unique and never done before. I also am doing this in correlation with an idea for a business that I have to start pickleball tournaments. My first step is to centralize all St.George pickleball traffic to one place, then begin to host tournaments where people can pay money to enter and win prizes for winning.
