Text Box: County's two cool customers Shropshire youngsters continue to shine on the ice skating stage. Charlotte Statham and Josh Ashe both made the podium at an open figure skating competition in Blackburn that was attended by skaters from all over the UK. Statham gave her best performance of the year to carry off the silver medal in the girls eight and under category while Ashe won gold in the hard fought beginners boys class. A hat-trick of medals for Telford Figure Skating Club members was completed by Abigail Thompson who finished second in the Ladies Competition.
