| Latest News - Top Thrill Dragster 7/4/03: Top Thrill Dragster is back up! After several weeks of not operating, Top Thrill Dragster finally returned to operation today, just in time. 7/3/03: Cedar Point won't give up. Janice Witherow told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Cedar Point will not give up on Top Thrill Dragster. Even if they do not have it up by the Holiday Weekend, they're going to keep trying and hope to have it up by the end of the season. 6/27/03: Top Thrill Dragster may not reopen until '04. If the ride doesn't open for Fourth of July weekend, they may have to shut it down for the season. 6/25/03: Top Thrill Dragster scheduled to be open for the Fourth of July. The ride is now scheduled to reopen for the country's 229th birthday, but is not expected to open before then. To read official information, click here. 6/19/03: Top Thrill Dragster reopens again, but then breaks down. The ride has been up and down a lot lately, but hopefully won't break down too much any more. 6/17/03: Top Thrill Dragster down again. Not long after people began to ride the ride again, it broke down, unsatisfying many. Cedar Point is reminding people that there are 15 other roller coasters and 67 other rides, and not to get too upset about Top Thrill Dragster. |
