One might have thought that having to deal with the ever changing faces of Microsoft products would have been enough a price to pay to enjoy the privilege to use software that so often would be best left in the box they came in, but as evident as it is unfortunate, the armada of morons is, if anything, for ever growing.
About cure & Prevention As of today, there are no panacea no cure-all , but if you use your computer in a networked environment, much will have been done to minimise the impact of viruses, with obvioulsy various anti-viruses, the trade-off being speed for security.
Who should use these tools: If you are an office-based worker the answer is NOT you. I can prophecise that your network administrator would not be happy at all, so ask first.
If you are working from home or are a home user, then it IS for you. Innovating for Christ: The following are simply different versions, the latest being the .Net version, of the same tool whose purpose is to remove as many unnecessary files from your computer as possible. The advantage is that your anti-virus / spyware will take less time to do their business .
Note that the HTA version is more for 1st & 2nd line Helpdesk Analysts, as it contains many tools which will be of little use to an office worker or a home user.
