will become familiar with word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
during this course.

3 - 100pt Exams
12 - Homework assignments 10 to 20 pts each
In class work approx.
100 pts
Materials 2 3 ½ inch
High Density floppy disks.
Software - This course uses the Microsoft
Office Suite 2000 programs (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). You can do all
of your assignments in the Wesleyan Labs. If you have the correct programs at
home you can do your work there but it is your responsibility to verify that the
software you use is compatible.
Attendance Attendance is very important to
your success as a student. Especially since we only meet once a week. If you
miss one night you miss one tenth of the course. Points covered during lecture
will show up on the exams. It is your responsibility to keep up with the class
work if you must be absent. If you miss a quiz you MUST make up that quiz before
the next class. No Exceptions! Homework assignments are due at the start of
class. Late assignments will receive fewer points. When a section is finished
all assignments from that section must be turned in or they will not receive any
points.
Plagiarism The school policy on cheating
and behavior is in the Student Handbook. Familiarize yourself with the rules so
there will be no surprises. There is a fine line between "working together" and
cheating.
