Abstract:   What is offered here is a hypothesis from 
Joseph_Sixpack that religion is an ancient science developed 
and practiced upon people just as much as chemistry, 
biology, physics or mathematics or computers are/is today. 
And as such, is not divorced in anyway from any other of 
mankinds newer, popular, scientific endeavors of discovery 
and utilization.



                   Religion is a science?

Among many other things, the centers of religion, visible 
and invisible, are centers for the study of humans and human 
societies.

These centers are centers for the cultural or spiritual 
advancement of the human race towards higher placement 
within the phylogenic order of available lifeforms.

That is to say, thru their efforts, we are supposed to get 
gooder and gooder, (if  you will pardon the objectionable 
expression) or more advanced as a human race, modeled as 
such, after God.

Throughout many, many, centuries of existence, similar 
experiments  and hypotheses have been conducted and 
constucted upon select groups with the results duly 
recorded.

The thousands of tests thruout time have had many failures 
and many successes.  The forged in blood doctrines were/are 
slowly incorporated into doctrinal practices over the 
centuries.

"We tried that, and it didn't work." is a common refrain to 
new ideas, citing results of failure or success attained 
many, many centuries ago.

God's son must be crucified.  There must be no beauty in Him 
or Comeliness that we should be desirous of Him... otherwise 
the body is corruptible and proves to be not God's son.

hard, hard, lessons for mankind to learn.  But civilization 
depends on it.

The snot-nosed scientists of today's commonly understood 
efforts of temporal 'science', like our own young children, 
sassing their parents and not realizing that their puerile 
'sciencing' was only made possible by a giant continum and 
consortium of high priests doing the same work with a 
different subject and different objectives upon a species 
called humanity or upon different objects called societies.

Water finds its own level. 

Those who ridicule 'religion' as defective or irrelevant 
indict themselves as substantially thoughtless, 
unimaginative and worse, non-poets.  Religion has a definite 
purposes and functions within mankind's societies.  It was 
the religious element that called for Christ's crucifixion.  
We know his fate.  I wonder what their's was.  

But take all these hypotheses with a grain of salt.  Nothing 
offered here is gospel.  Joe's are notoriously deficient in 
reading the heavens from the distant earth's dark fogs.

Paul says, 'for now we see through a glass, darkly'.

But uh... let me say just this:
The collective efforts of the men and women in black under 
the supervision of their boss are just as much responsible 
for your ability as a pre-judgment larval form, to sleep 
undisturbed at night, as is the fresh air.

The post-judgment group who have had their last judgment, 
have a somewhat different environment now, as set forth in 
the Book of Revelations.

The group composes the einstein of the sciencing of people.

Christianity is not a joke.  It is not a game.  It must and 
will be done.  Each of us goes where our wandering conduct 
takes us.

Where there is no Good Friday, there is no Easter Sunday.
