Meditations on the Sublime Mystery
of an infinite number of Parallel Worlds

Abstract: The Joseph_sixpack hypothesis is that there are
only two correct answers to the question of whether parallel
worlds actually exist.
One answer is that: Yes they do.
The other answer is: No they don't.
Joe suspects that the question: How can both be correct?
has already entered your mind. Well it is your fault, you
didn't keep the door locked. :-)
The literature of parallel worlds begins with our favorite
readsay book of divine aspirants and cultural enforcement
wherein it is written: In the beginning God created the
heavens and the earth.
Like... already we got two of them parallel worlds right
away. ...but with a distinction. we don't exist in both at
the same time. Soon after we run across the third, Hell.
Okay so now we are up to three parallel worlds and counting.
But same, same, in so far as occupancy is concerned. We can
only find a single home in one unique setting.
But this is metaphysics within literature and not physics.
Strolling Pot Bangers?
Okay, the strolling pot bangers (prophets) try to alert the
prurient inhabitants of the current city of its undesired
destination to the alternate institution. Somewhat like
Damascus, ala Saul aka Paul), to which they, due to their
conduct, are headed. (if there is a pronoun reference
problem here, it is because it is deliberate.)
The problem for larval humanity is God's 4th Dimensional
Theoretical Perfect Justice, as well as His Theoretically
Perfect Mercy, especially when it is applied to everybody
without any exceptions whatsoever... We can run but we
can't hide.
His Name might be Holy, and therefore undiscussible, but the
results, the sight and sounds of His Judgments due to, and
upon, our conduct, are not. The earth and her seas are
strewn with moral wreckage of foolish ships who sail by the
light of the evenings darkness. i'll leave it to the reader
to assemble today's data of darkness.
"War is Hell" or so goes the adage.
Those in Hell are thought to be damned.
Soldiers go to war.
Therefore, they have been, and are, damned.
Soldiers who return from war have known Hell.
Well, joe thinks Hell is far worse than war.
In war, you at least have the cooperation of your fellow
soldiers and some logistic support.
In Hell, not even that comfort exists.
In theory, it is a totally Godless place, beyond even, the
temporary brutality of the fire of bullets, bombs, and
napalm.
That Hell is a little man made Hell.
Most 'little hells' last about 4-5 years.
For me, that would be quite hell enough.
The Institution of Darkness does a much better job, its Hell
lasts for an eternity.
As Bernanos suggests in his book, "the other side of the
mountain" their destiny is stone. Perhaps clay buried in
tombs, perhaps partially visible through erosion, perhaps
stone. Of which type of stone, Jesus referenced, could be
used by the Father with which to build temples, if He so
desired.
In theory, Hell would be a place of the Master Musicians
score of an eternal symphony of murder. Analogous to the
strange creatures of the deep that exists in the sea, only
to approach the surface late at night to feed and view the
moon, and then sink to the bottom when the first indication
of an approaching dawn revealed itself. At darkness then
and during, each consuming the other in order to survive.
A totally hopeless situation.
Abandon Hope all ye who enter there perhaps is more than
just a sign over the stone entryway that was noticed by
David.
...because i dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell.
But let's lighten up a bit and get back to our question of
whether there are really an infinite number of parallel
worlds.
Metaphysically, there are a number of parallel worlds,
composed of two legged creatures, but not an infinite
number.
Physics offers the hypothesis that their untwo-legged number
is infinite...
Infinite... that is a big word. a big number. the
permutations on particles and their locations in a parallel
universe hypothesis would be:
GOOGLEPLEX(googleplex-1)googleplex! (factorial).
One is for the number of particles, the second is for their
variation, the third is for TIME, Quantum Time down to
planck's constant for the shortest possible time slice.
Jeepers! their may even be a forth or a fifth power
involved. This is a job for professional mathematians, not
a joe.
The parallel world permutations generate a way too big a
number for reality. Therefore parallel universes in real
physics do not exist, notwithstanding the symbol-minded
quantum baloney. Given the final answer to the factorial
number, that is not even a hypothesis, but a fact.
(but since joe is reluctant to step on the quantum world's
mathematical toes, let me remind all that this is just a
joseph_sixpack intuition with all the limitations attending
thereto...). If you like parallel worlds, go for it...
The main issue here is defining just what is meant by a
"parallel world" in the first place. The metaphysician's
parallel worlds of human organization is quite different
from the physicist's parallel worlds of mathematical
potential reality. The subjects are as different as night
and day. And their reality is just a different.
Joe can offer no comment as to the validity of the latter,
other than the one above. it all depends on how symbol
minded you are.
Which one in actually exists is up to the observer's
opinion. Notwithstanding their opinion however, the reality
may well be otherwise. who really knows...
God controls the reality, we create the guesswork and
opinion.
For starters, the metaphysician's parallel worlds are worlds
exclusively composed of feet. two feet. It is a world of
social organization and human distance and human alienation.
A two legged silence, like in the song, "...like a cancer
grows."
Vast populations of humanity in substantial isolation from
one another. The white larval's (pre-judgment) unaware of
the approaching reality of their imminent Dies Irae as well
as the post-judgment existence of those who are creating
their fall, and of those set to thwart it.
The string theorists and m-theorists live in their own
mathematically created worlds. Are the worlds of the
mathematicians real? I suppose to them they are. Are they
real to us? Are they real to God? Interesting question, i
am glad you asked it...
Just what is GOOGLEPLEX(googleplex-1)googleplex! (factorial) anyhow?
