Abstract: This short paper's intuitive joseph_sixpackian
hypothesis suggests that in a universe that allegedly has an
acceleration of its expansion rate, Cosmic Background
Radiation under such conditions quite possibly would be
dopplered continuously down as the acceleration continued
to, er, ...accelerate.
Joe guesses
Consider standing at a fixed location (there is no such
thing) listening to a clarinet player playing a single fixed
frequency sound source accelerating ever faster away. As
the clarinet player keeps accelerating away, faster and
faster, the single note from the clarinet the pitch
(frequency) of the sound source keeps decreasing.
The same would be true say for a holder of a light of some
fixed frequency. The photons would appear to lose energy by
decreasing in frequency and going to longer wavelength
colors.
In fact, radiation of any frequency from sound to gamma rays
would be subject to dopplering (apparent loss of energy).
Now, cosmic background radiation, sourced somewhere, and
going somewhere else, (radiation is directive) and given an
arbitrary fixed starting point (x,y,z,t) under an
accelerating environment of ever changing distance would
exhibit the standard dopplered phenomenon as the entire
continuum moved away from p(x,y,z,t).
If 'no continuous doppleration' of cosmic background
radiation cannot be measured or verified, does that mean, or
bring with it, the hypothesis that there is no acceleration
of the expansion of the universe?
If cosmic background radiation shows a continuous, albeit
very slow accelerating energy shift downward to match the
acceleration of the expansion of the cosmos, would that
would tend to present the hypothesis that the universe's
expansion is indeed accelerating.
The Universe+
If there is no doppler effect detectable for any Cosmic Background
Radiation, then joe's intuitive hypothesis is that the cosmos is
not accelerating in its expansion, but just unique objects in the
cosmos are accelerating under gravitational influence of the super
massive objects (invisible and at the edge of our cosmos) towards
the super massive objects that was hypothesized in the intuitive
Universe+ hypothesis for just simple accretion purposes.
