Abstract: This chapter concerns itself with an attempt to
grapple with the existence of anti-gravity. this particular
chapter will remain 'open ended' as joe has absolutely no
idea, much less understanding, about which, and what, he is
talking about.

May 2007 (on a reread, i think i better add something here... Anti-gravity comes in two flavors, metaphysical and physical. To the poet, metaphysical anti-gravity is nothing less than a power that enables us to free ourselves from earth's gravity. That is, those influences that draw us downward in moral conduct. A return to four footed status, if you will, or a return to a morally primitive existence in the trees so to speak. That anti-gravitational power is usually always the intercession of the Heavens lifting us up. Or, in a word, God's Grace and blessing to us when it is applied to our desperate earthly activities of survival and our souls that would inevitably destroy themselves by a return to darkness. Remember when God created light? Well, survivorship at any cost, creates a return to darkness. And the final cost is the cost of our souls. Such is metaphysical gravity.
Needless to say, with respect to anti-gravity, many feel that there may be no such physical process in existence, they ignoring God's grace, so any labored and intuitive concepts offered here as possible insights to the alleged phyical phenomenon of course would be to that group, ipso facto invalid ab initio.
Okay, so now what? However, as we don't really understand that much about the visible universe surrounding us, to say nothing of its invisible aspects, the ideas offered here are just thrown out there anyhow for combat with the ignorati lions in the Greek Arena. Expect a one-sided battle from their point of view.
Preliminary Caveat From a metaphysical point of view, 'gravity' has been used by the poets to stand for, sort of like a minus signed algebraic variable, a hostile spiritual environment which has a net effect of abrading our soul to the extent that our soul is pulled into or towards Hell. So we have stories like, Verne's, "journey to the center of the earth"; Lewis Carroll's, "Alice in Wonderland" where she falls to the center of the earth, passing an empty jar of marmalade, and so forth... Dobdson was a poet as well as a mathematician. Literature is full of metaphysical depictions of the 'effects' of the metaphysical earth's gravity upon moral conduct. In any event, suffice to say, the 'center of the earth' poetically, may not be in the actual 'center of the earth', literally but just a land where God is absent or deliberately ignores, if that is possible. But Hell is really, really, there, in any event. And current human events and human history confirms it. We ignore the 'red letter' at your peril, and it is just too, too, easy to do, leaders of the earth. Gravitation consumes all.
Now we have another problem. Being affected by anti-gravity would poetically have to stand for our spiritual ascension to a 'higher plane' as it would free us from the effects of metaphysical gravity. Sort of like a plus sign in front of our variable value. Now, the mathematicians might think this all just a bunch of imaginary numbers, so for this chapter on anti-gravity, at least, i felt that it might be a bit easier if i explained where i am coming from. After all, this is joe's beginning elementary poetry 101. Things get a LOT tougher to decode and understand when you hit the real poets or the last book of the bible. end of caveat.
Now for physical gravity The Bar Magnet Consider the humble bar magnet. It has one end that attracts or pulls on you if you are iron, and another end that repels or pushes you away. (Sort of like old wives who have seen many summers). Gold, Silver and Copper appear to be unaffected... :-) Come to think of it, most of my life has been just a gravitational event being pushed (repelled) by women... except one of course, but even she, now in her old age, has plenty of her gravitational moments. (metaphysical alert!) sorry for the digression :-) One field, two different functions? Anyhow, Now these two detectable fields of a bar magnet demonstrate that they are attractive and repulsive fields in existence for all to see. Gravity has field properties too, but where is the repulsive field end of the bar magnet of gravity? (so to speak) According to Joseph_Sixpack's SNOT standard model, there isn't any distinct repulsive properties to gravitational generation. But doesn't that seem strange for a field like gravity to not have an obverse side? What can be really missing here? Of course, joe's don't really understand warped spacetime as 'gravity' so it may seem that gravity isn't a field after all, but just has, coincidentally, the mathematical properties, insofar as attraction goes, of a field, leaving any TOE untied and laying scattered on the ground.
But But...There does seem to be a repulsive force buried deep within matter (mass). Does this repulsive 'field' relate to warped spacetime in some obscure way? Is it the reverse side of the warpage of space and time? In actual physical reality, anti-gravity may not be present in the universe within its mega-massive super large black holes. I think the lack of an easily identifiable obverse to gravity is something that you should keep in mind however. Well, that is where we will leave it for now... more later, maybe...
Later... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
