PROJECTS:
a) Over the past 10 years We have managed and supervised market research studies in 25 countries in the Caribbean, Central and South America. These studies provided such important market information as market size and market growth estimates, competitive analysis, benchmarking data, distribution channel analysis as well as information pertaining to tax and duty structures and strategic partnerships/alliances.
Some of the projects executed in the year 2004 included the
E-Commerce Initiative that promotes Caribbean products in North America and Europe www.totallycaribbean.com, assist in the implementation of regional projects such as the Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA), the CARICOM's identification of opportunities in the service industry resulting of the implementation of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) and the ITC's e-Trade-bridge project for Barbados and Jamaica.

b) November 2001: UN�s International Trade Centre ITC)Trade Information Management Specialist - Ssa    Itc/2001-196 - to prepare a position paper for ITC�s 2001 Executive Forum on whether "your export network is working" on why I think trade information services work/don't work and the scope for networking trade information services nationally/regionally. c) August 1995-December 1995: Assist Price Waterhouse Dominican Republic in providing Information Technology Services to its clients.  Conduct audits on Information Systems and Information Technology.  Develop Disaster Recovery Plans and Manuals to clients particularly the Banking sector.

d) May 1993-November 1993:
Installation of Terminals Network (WAN) nationwide, to support Money-Ball and Pega 3 electronic games. Design Management with CODETEL's Data Networks Departments, using X.25 communications (Codepack) and HDLC through Dial-up and dedicated lines. The network is design to support 1,000 terminals. Installation of PC's local Novell network (LAN) for 16 users. Creation of maintenance department for both networks, technicians hiring and purchase of vehicles to support the remote network. Consultant as Network Manager, supervising 4 people directly, and 2 indirectly.

e) June 1990-August 1990: Development of systems programming department and control graphics for thermoelectric plants, cauldrons and hydroelectric plants for Westinghouse at ITABO Industrial Park. Consultant as Applications Engineer supervising 14 people.

f) January 1990: Thesis embodying results of original research in NETWORKS, MINICOMPUTERS AND CONECTIVITY. To opt of the academic degree of Licenciado en Inform�tica (Bachelor in Science/Systems Engineer). This included: Installation, Monitoring and Security for a LAN & Connectivity with most known minicomputers.

g) October 1988-January 1989: EDP computer system installation (hardware, accounting software and LAN software for PC's) for the corporate group La Opera, department and hardware store. Bonao, Dom. Rep.
