About me Hi, I am JOSE CARLO UBLIANDA RENTAR a resident of Dubai City, UAE. You can call me Carlos / Carlo. I am currently working as a Technical Support at GOLDEN TOYS GENERAL TRADING LLC..A trading company that specializes in exporting and distributing baby products in the UAE and nearby countries like Africa, Iran, Russia and Southern Europe. As a Technical Support, my duty is to install, setup, and monitor local area network (LAN). Performing a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure LAN performance meets company and user requirements. I administer network workstations of one or more TCP/IP or non TCP/IP protocols and one or more window based operating systems. I implement network security, including building firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users. I also do troubleshooting networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties. For future developments, I do investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability. My previous jobs were as an Administrative Officer/dBase Administrator and a Partime Computer Technician I graduated at Don Bosco Technical College in Mandaluyong City with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering diploma in the year 2005. I have a knowledge in Unix based Operating System: DEBIAN BASED LINUX DSITRIBUTION, FEDORA CORE PROJECT, RED HAT LINUX I am computer literate, good in Microsoft Office application programs such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Webpage Design, MYOB ACCOUNTING V9 & PREMIER V9 Software, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP. I also prepare proposal letters and other correspondence as may be necessary. In addition, I coordinate and maintain good professional relations with various suppliers, contractors, forwarders, clients, associations, company contacts, office staffs and colleagues as needed.
