They have spent thirty nine years wandering in the desert. The Israelites are reminded of their selfishness and Gods faithfulness. Moses appoints Joshua as a new leader and prepares his people to enter the promised land. Moses look at the promised land form on top of a mountain in Moab and there he dies.
