Katrina is her name
Destroying stuff is her game
She has been mean to men
And everything around them
She has destroyed homes and lives
And leaves us all with a sigh
Florida wasn't really hurt
Just some leaves and trees and dirt
She was Louisiana's biggest threat
Left the people with a fret
The water flooded like a great big lake
Until there was nothing left for her to take
People died two by two
It was just like one big chew
Some were lucky and stayed up high
Then the rescuers came flying by
Luckily they saw them there
And picked them up into the air
They could only save one by one
But were still able to get some
Others fell right on in
And drowned and died until she stopped her sin
It was all very sad
And many were very mad
They saw the bodies in the water
And just watched them tetter totter
Now it is all gone
We can all stop the run
We are now finished with the ballerina
The one we all call Katrina!!
