| Daddy 911 I live in New York City and am very itsy-bitsy I don't know where my daddy went, my mommy doesn't want to tell me Two years ago when I was six, my daddy called and said, Daddy loves you Kiley, he loves you very much I love you too, was what I said wondering what was happening I heard frightning voices and got a little scared Put mommy on my daddy said Okay daddy I love you I love you too Kiley But when my mommy got the phone she looked a little sad I still didn't know what was wrong with my dad But when my mommy started to cry I knew it was very bad And after that day I never saw my daddy ever again, I would pray every night he would soon come home, But he never did Now that I am eight I know my daddy is in heaven Because the airplanes crashed that tragic day September 11, 2001 -Melissa Catalano, 12 |
