He possessed yet, in the year of 1820, one house at the Praça (ot the Mother Church? [da Matriz?]), in which he resided, evaluated in 6$000 r.s, that paid the tithe of $465 r.s, and the groundrent [foro] of $075 r.s. In 1821 he paid also the groundrent to the Council [Câmara], of $600 r.s, of another ruined ["arruinada"] property, in the Below Street [Rua de Baixo] (of the Mother Church? [da Matriz?]), right side. Between 1821 and 1823 he resided in the house at the Above Street [Rua de Cima (of the Mother Church? [da Matriz?]), valued in 6$000 r.s, that paid the tithe of $465 r.s, and the groundrent [foro] of $075 r.s, exactly with the same characteristics of tha one with seat at the Square [Praça] (of the Mother Church? [da Matriz?]), what makes us suppose that they are the same house. He was then treated by the military rank of Sargent [Sargento]. military service: He reached the rank with Second Liutenant [Alferes], probably of Ordenança, having initiated it as Sargent [Sargento], rank that he had already in the year of 1823. politics/public offices: He has been Gold Exchanger [Permutador do Ouro], in the post of the Mother Dominique Bridge [Ponte da Mãe Domingas], in Sabará, MG, Brazil, in the year of 1821. religion/brotherhoods: Probably, he was roman apostolic catholic. slaves: He had a slave by name Victória Parda that had at least six (6) sons while he was alive, and also at least more one (1) to his heirs: Antônio (1º), bap. 12th/Sep/1805; Anna (1ª), bap. 26th/Jul/1822; Adão, bap. 24th/Aug/1829; Anna (2ª), bap. 26th/Jul/1832; João, bap. 12th/Sep/1835; and Antônio (2º), bap. 12th/Sep/1835; and, after his dead, Marianna, bap. 5th/Sep/1852.
