[da Matriz?]), valued in 6$000 r.s, that paid the tithe of $465 r.s, and the groundrent [foro] of $075 r.s, exactly with the same characteristics of tha one with seat at the Square [Praça] (of the Mother Church? [da Matriz?]), what makes us suppose that they are the same house. He was then treated by the military rank of Sargent [Sargento].

military service: He reached the rank with Second Liutenant [Alferes], probably of Ordenança, having initiated it as Sargent [Sargento], rank that he had already in the year of 1823.

politics/public offices: He has been Gold Exchanger [Permutador do Ouro], in the post of the Mother Dominique Bridge [Ponte da Mãe Domingas], in Sabará, MG, Brazil, in the year of 1821.
