He used the pseudonym "Raul Moreno". Laudelino Freire, in his Collectanea Brazilian Sonnets [Sonetos Brazileiros], published by F. Briguiet, in 1913, included one of his sonnets, "Strange Symphony" ["Symphonia Extranha"], at pg. 258.
