| The Elite Chase for the Cup is a series of races which determins the winner of Elite League Each Season. The teams that make it in the chase each season, are the top 10 in Yahoo! points after the 26th race at Richmond, and then two "wild cards" which are the two best teams in the Elite Point System that were not one of the top 10 Yahoo! teams. These Teams then go to another group where they all start with zero points. Who ever earns the most Yahoo! points during this time is the champion. After the last race of the season at Homestead, all the chase drivers will get an extra 10 points for every race they won during the 1st 26 races of the season.
