Like shepherd�s fire�s glowing in autumnal dark night,
Flaming in the farness: in the plain a spot-light:
Face of Mikl�s Toldi flashes before my eyes
Just for nine-ten descents in the past olden times.
Methinks as I could see his robust figure there,
In ravaging combat his lance-thrusts in welter,
And as I could hear his thundering and wild cry,
That you could believe now: this must be the Lord�s ire.
