| The University of Virginia has two great elements. The Rotunda (rather hard to miss in the top two pictures), and loads upon loads of stark white pillars. Combine those with an assignment to shoot Levy, who just happens to be a cellist but would not actually be playing his cello during the symposium, Levy's status as a Lawnie (one of a few select students who live in the apartments lining either side of the Lawn between the Rotunda and Cabel Hall), a moderately chilly March morning and really soggy ground (I had mud spots on my knees when I was done), and he JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE HIS CELLO...... you see the results. |
