The Urban Martial Arts team is one of the dominant forces in eskrima in the UK. In the mid-1990s I had a number of amateur MMA matches. I retired from competition with a record of 3-2-3 (WDL). At the end of 2008 I returned to BJJ training and placed 3rd in the Senior Absolute at the 2009 Welsh Open and 3rd in the Senior Middle Heavy at the 2009 British Open. I do not teach BJJ, but would highly recommend both: Bushido MMA in Nottingham & Gracie Barra Mansfield. |
