• Christian Howes (Chris is the original sweaty conductor and a hot jazz fiddler.)
• Jeremy Kittel (A wonderful fiddler in both the Celtic and jazz traditions.)
• Hanneke Cassel (Another great teacher from fiddle camp who is not afraid to chase rainbows.)

• Pearl Django (A great hot club style band from Seattle.)
• Jazz Vipers (A hot band from New Orleans playing a rich mix of jazz.)
• The Hot Club of New Orleans (New friends that are taking the legacy of the Hot Club genre into the new millennia.)
• Barbone Street Jazz Band (A hot trad jazz band from Philly area that never fails to entertain and keeps reaching out to new audiences.)

Schools and Camps:

• Mark O'Connor's Fiddle Camp (You could spend weeks here and not learn everything that the wonderful instructors have to teach.)
• Swannanoa Gathering (Several different programs near Asheville, NC with great small class size and lots of jamming.)
• Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp (The high altitude, great teachers and wonderful campers will make you dizzy.)
• School for Strings (One of the best in the city...Jonathan studies here one day a week.)
• Hudson River School of Music (The Suzuki school where Jonathan started out.)

• American Rag (West coast trad jazz publication, Jonathan was featured in the November 2005 edition.)
