Reflections
June 2007

Well my dear Brothers and Friends, it has been way too long since last I published material to this site.  But, the time has not been wasted.

I have spent the time researching further "The Incident" - and regret to say that the bigotry and un-Masonic conduct of so-called Brothers continued past "The Incident" itself.

And, now, with my research, I understand clearly why the original material was removed from Brother Mack's website and why I received no response from him to my inquiries.

Before I continue, I must
note that one of the joys of the Internet is the ability to be in contact with people throughout the world.  And, with the assistance of the Brethren here I have been able to contact some of the Brethren in the United States who were able to contact other Brothers, etc. in order to provide me with information contained here.

A further
note must also be made at this point, all of the information I provide on this page is "public knowledge" of a large number of the Brethren in both the United States and here.  And, it all can be easily confirmed for those who wish to do so.

As I discovered, the behaviour of the so-called Brothers can only be described in the words of the Holy Gospel of Saint Luke, "Then entered SATAN into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve."

Or perhaps I should write, "Then entered SATAN into the so-called Brothers, being of the number of Freemasons."

The reason I use such strong terms is that I fail to understand the initial behaviour, let alone the behaviour that followed.  Un-Masonic does not begin to describe the behaviour.  A lack of understanding of Freemasonry does not begin to describe the behaviour.

Not long after "The Incident," and before a reply from the Grand Master was received, Brother Mack attempted to attend another Lodge during the visitation of the District Deputy Grand Master.  The Worshipful Master of the Lodge informed Brother Mack that he could not sit in Lodge as some of the Brothers objected to him being present.

It is to be noted that the so-called Brothers who were directly involved with "The Incident" were also members of said Lodge and present that evening (Virginia allowing plural memberships).

Brother Mack respectfully wrote another letter to the Grand Master, advising him of the action and noting that the un-Masonic conduct exhibited by previously named Brothers was continuing and was a cause of scandal.

Shortly thereafter Brother Mack received the decision of Most Worshipful Glover Hunter Jones, III, the then Grand Master.

Not only did M.W. Jones not rule in favour of Brother Mack, M.W. Jones threatened to bring Brother Mack up on Masonic charges if he did not immediately remove all reference to "The Incident" from his personal website.

So it would appear that within the Grand Lodge of Virginia violations by so-called Brothers of their Most Solemn Obligation as a Master Mason are not only permitted but encouraged.

It would also appear that within the Grand Lodge of Virginia the First Admendment to the United States Constitution ("free speech") is not to be observed.

What a sad day for Freemasonry everywhere!

What an evil day for Freemasonry everywhere!

In the imortal words of Emile Zola, "J'Accuse...!", "I Accuse...!", of un-Masonic conduct: all of the so-called Brothers previously mentioned by name on this website as well as all others involved.

The so-called Brothers deserve nothing less than Expulsion from Freemasonry.  For if violations of their Most Solemn Obligation as a Master Mason does not deserve Expulsion, then what can be said to do so?

As for Brother Mack, he is worthy of highest recognition.  Brother Mack has stood for the true meaning of Freemasonry while submitting to all manner of un-Masonic conduct by so-called Brothers.

It is my understanding that while Brother Mack maintains all of his Masonic memberships, he has minimized any active participation.

This is a great loss to Freemasonry.  And, our prayers and thoughts are with Brother Mack as he follows his path, seeking greater Light.
