Overall It wasn't in that bad of shape. My wife and I packed our two kids and drove from Utah to California to pick it up. It had sat for some time and all it really needs is some TLC.
I didn't know the condition of the engine when I boutht it. I dind know that it didn't run. The previous owner bought from a impound lot and couldn't tell me much. It turns out to of had a 1835cc engine that had fill w/ water and rusted over.
The Whole car had been constructed for serious off road use. It has a warrior front end that is tied to its roll cage. The shocks in front are 18" KYBs. The front clip has been cut and replaced with a king pin beam. Everything downd to the tie rods have been reinforced. The tires in front are 215's and in fair shape. The front and rear suspension have been lifted and are stock width.
The inside was gutted and contained one gray beard seat and a 22 gallon fuel cell that replaced the rear seat. The rear trailing arms had been boxed and held 2 28" shocks per wheel. The rear tires are 31" X 10.5" and in great shape.
Even the lights worked on the car when I put a battery in Looks like a fun project. NEXT
