- The World of Balance -
Mines of Narshe  Party - Vicks, Wedge, ????? (Terra)  Boss: Whelk
  You'll walk down the main street of Narshe into the coal mines.  Once in the mines, you will see a glowing blue orb.  This is a save point.  If you walk directly towards the gate, a Narshe gaurd will initiate a fight with Whelk.  Upon defeating it, enter towards the esper.  It will blow up Vicks and Wedge and destroy Terra's magi-tech armour.

Arvis's House  Party - Terra  Items: check the clock for an elixir
  Terra wakes up in Narshe where a man removes the slave crown.  Terra can't remember anything.  Narshe gaurds come to take Terra.  Arvis forces her out the back enterance into the mines.

Mines  Party - Terra  Items: Phoenix Down, Sleeping Bag  Boss: Marshal
  After entering the mines, Terra walks until she is spotted by the gaurds.  She runs and falls through the floor to the lower levels of the mine.  She has a flashback about frying Imperial soldiers and Kefka.  The scene shifts back to Arvis's house where you meet Locke.  Arvis sends Locke into the mines to rescue Terra and take her to Figaro Castle.  You see Locke drop to where Terra is passed out and the Narshe marshal comes to initiate a fight along with Lobos and Vomammoths.  The Moogles (Kupek, Kupop, Kumama, Mog, Kupan, Kuku, Kutan, Kushu, Kurin, Kuru, and Kamog) help you to defeat him.  Be sure to take Mog's equipment.  All three characters can use his Mythril Shld, and Edgar can use his pike.  Also you can steal a Mythril Knife from the marshal.  Once they are defeated, Lock grabs Terra and takes her to another exit from the mines.  He uses a secret passage. 
Remember this.  You'll need it later. You are now at the enterance to Narshe.  The gaurds won't let you into the city, so it's not worth trying.  There is a classroom outside the city walls, though.

Classroom    Party - Locke, Terra   Items: Sleeping Bag, Tonic, Monster-in-a-Box
  There is water from a recovery spring in the bucket at the enterance.  In this building, you can learn about status, character abilities and many other things.  Take your time in here and learn all you can.  It's better that using trial and error.

Figaro Castle    Party - Edgar, Locke, Terra    Items: Phoenix Down, Soft, Tonic, Antidote   Boss: M-Tech Armour
Item Shop & Tool Shop

  After heading south of Narshe, you'll enter a giant desert.  In the middle of this desert stends Figaro Castle.  You will be directed to talk to the King.  This is Edgar.  After talking to him , you'll recieve an Auto Crossbow, and Locke will leave your party.  Go to the left tower.  There you will meet Matron, and she will tell you about Sabin (Egdar's brother).  After talking to her, return to the throne room.  A Figaro gaurd will come to tell Edgar that Kefka has arrived at the castle.  There will be a small discourse between Edgar and Kefka.  After that, you will need to talk to Locke, and Egdar will instruct him to take Terra to her room.  As Terra, follow Lock to the right tower and you will talk to Locke.  The next scene starts with Edgar waking up to find that Figaro castle is on fire.  Talk to Kefka, and the soldiers. (Bevis and Butthead?)  Go and tell the gaurd to get ready.  Edgar, Terra, and Locke will flee the castle on chocobos and the castle will submerge into the sand.  Kefka will send Magi Teck Armour after you.  Fight them and then ride the chocobos to the cave that leadds to South Figaro.

Cave to South Figaro   Party: Edgar, Terra, Locke  Items: Tincture x 2, Phoenix Down
  Wait until after you get Celes to open the treasure chests, as the items will be of greater value.

South Figaro   Chests: 500 GP, 1000 GP, 1500 GP  Items: Search the barrels and boxes for items, but if you wait until the world of ruin, they will be better quality items.
You will meet Shadow at the cafe, and have the oppertunity to purchase Sprint Shoes at the relic shops.  If you are using the playstation, purchacing Sprint Shoes is not nessicary, you can hold down the O button and get the same effect.  You will still go faster perssing O and havin Sprint Shoes equiped, so if you want to be super speedy, you can do that.

Duncan's Cabin  Party:Edgar. Terra, Locke  Items: Tonic in the bucket next to the stove
You can sleep in any of the beds for free, also you can have Edgar examine the flowers, hutch and teapot to find traces of Sabin's presence in that cabin.

Mount Kolts  Party: Edgar, Terra, Locke  Items: Gaurdian, Atlas Armlet, Tent x2  Boss: Vargas
The path to Vargas is very straightforward, but to get the Atlas Armlet, you need to try walking right on a path covered over by one of the walls.  While fighting Vargas, Sabin will join you.  Just have Sabin Pummel Vargas to finish him off.

Returner's Hideout  Party: Terra, Edgar, Locke, Sabin  Items: Phoenix Down, Air Lancet, True Knight, Potion, White Cape, Antidoe, Tincture, Green Cherry, scrap of paper (purpose?) Genji Glove or Gauntlet
The Antidote, Tincture and Green Cherry are all in pots and buckets, but if you examine the head of the table (opposite of Sabin) you will find a scrap of paper.  You can leave it there and Bannon will mention it in his discourse, or throw it away.  If you don't even look at it, it will never be mentioned.  After talking to Bannon, Terra will have the oppertunity to decide whether to join the Returners of not.  Once you've talked to Locke, Sabin, and Edgar, you can go outside to talk to Bannon.  If you agree to join, Bannon will give you a Gauntlet, but if you tell him "no" then go back inside, the guy in the storage room will give you a Genji Glove.  You still have the choice to join the Returners, but Bannon will not give you a Gauntlet if you say yes once you have a Genji Glove.  After you decide there will be a meeting to decide how to attack the empire, during the metting, a returner will come to tell you that S. Figaro was invaded by the empire.  Locke leaves to try to invade the city, and Terra, Edgar, Sabin, and Bannon leave on a raft to Narshe.

Lete River  Boss: Ultros
If Bannon dies, you will have a game over, so it's best to put him on the back row and have him use Health.  There are two save points on your way up the river and these will be the only place that you can access the subscreen.  Near the end of the trip, Ultros attacks, Sabin jumps off the raft and is swept down another branch of the river.

The game now gives you the choice of three scenerios to complete.  One with Terra, Edgar and Bannon, one with Locke, and one with Sabin.  You should do Sabin's last so that Gau can learn a greater number of rage skills.  Also if you do Terra's before Sabin's, Shadow will stay in your party longer.

* * * LOCKE'S SCENARIO * * *
South Figaro  Items: Hyperwrist, Running Shoes, Elixer
First of all, DO NOT TALK TO THE MAGITECH ARMOURED SOLDIERS, unless you want to die.  And you will need to equip Locke with all his items and relics again.  First, go to the item shop and steal the clothes from the merchant.  Dressed as a merchant, the boy in the larger house will allow you to pass though.  Now to go the perimiter wall and find the soldier dressed in green.  Dressed as a soldier you can dismiss one of the gaurds from duty by the rich man's house and go to the cafe.  In the basemant of the cafe, steal the cider and the clothes from the merchant.  Go to the larger house again and give the cider to the old man.  We will tell you to give his son the password.  It is "courage".  From there you can take an underground passage into the rich man's house.  check the clock for an Elixer and enter his house through the side door.  You will need to go to the second floor and into the master bedroom and then desend the staircase hidden behind the bookshelf.  If you head straight you will enter a cell where you can find the Hyperwrist and RunningShoes.  You can then trun to the left down the hallway.  Locke will stop in front of the first door and watch the gaurds beat up Celes.  After the gaurd leaves, enter the room and rescue Celes.  She will join Locke and will tell you to take the clock key from the soldier.  Enter the room at the end of the hall and go to the back clock.  Wind it and the bookshelf will move and reveal a door.

Secret Passage  Party: Locke, Celes  Items: Iron Armour, Heavy Shld, Regal Cutlass, X-Potion, Ribbon, Ether, Earrings
Boss: TunnlArmr

To get to the secret room with the ribbon, you will need to try oushing left whille you pass thought the darkened area.  The chest with the ribbon will be hidden by teh wall, so check in that area.  Once you exit the passage, you will be able to leave South Figaro and head back to Narshe.  You can still stop at Duncan's Cabin to recover some HPs if you need them.  Take the treasures in the chests this time though the cave to Figaro.  Once you defeat TunnlArmr Locke's scenario will be over.

***TERRA, EDGAR, AND BANNON'S SCENARIO***
Lete River (cont.)  Perty: Terra, Edgar, Bannon
As before, if Bannon dies, the game's over so use the same strategy for Bannon thoughout the entire scenario.  You just need to ride on teh raft now, there will be no forks to choose from.  When you land you will be at a little lake just to the west of Narshe

Narshe Mines  Items: Rune Edge (Ribbon in WOR)
The gaurds won't let you enter though the front gates, so you will have to get in though the mines using the secret passage that Locke shows you at the begining of the game.  You will be encountered with a light maze that you will have to follow exactly after a few rooms into the mines.  If you make a wrong move, you will have to "tag" the yellow light and go on.  After that room, you should be on a straightforward path to Arvis's house.  Once you enter it, the scenario will end.

***SABIN'S SCENARIO***
Hut (Gau's father's house)  Party: Sabin, Shadow
Not much to do here, talk to the soldier on the chocobo, because he can sell you lots of stuff, and then talk to Shadow.  If you want, he'll join your party.  Also the man in the hut says some pretty funny stuff, so it's worth your time to go in and talk to him.  Walk south to  a desert by a bridge.  This is the Imperial Camp

Imperial Camp  Party: Sabin, Shadow
You hide and overhear the plan to storm Doma Castle

Doma Castle  Party: Cyan
All you need to do is kill the general and the rest of the troops will flee.  A couple hits with SwdTech 1 should be enough.

Imperial Camp (again) Items: Star Pentant, Monster in a Box, Mithril Glove, Barrier Ring
In the left tent, the treasure chest is locked.  You can kick it, with brings in Dobermen (this is the only time you fight this enemy, so I suggest it for Gau's rage skill), punch it (this brings a sentry that you hide from) or leave it alone.  In the chest is a Star Pendant.  Go down on teh screen and you;ll hear a little of the story of Kefka planning to poison Doma.  You try to stop him and end up chasing him though the camp.  Be sure to visit all the tents durring this, or you'll miss the chance to get the other relics.  After two fights, Kefka will send the soldiers to fight you.  Durring this Kefka will poison Doma.

Doma Castle  Party: Cyan
Cyan and the gaurd will realize that the water is poisoned.  Go the the throne room and then go to the room on the right (Cyan's room)

Imperial Camp (yet again)
Cyan joins Sabin and Shadow and tells them how to get to Narshe.  (Why didn't they take the MagiTech Armour I wonder?)

Phantom Forest  Party: Sabin, Cyan, Shadow
Follow the path straight thought he forest and chose the top right path when you have a choice.  At the end of the forest, you will find the Phantom Train.

Phantom Train  Items: Earrings, Monster in a Box, Phoenix Down x2, Shiper Sight  Boss: Ghost Train
If you enter the caboose, you can have one of the spectres on the train join you for a time, them head up the train towards the engine.  The spectres in the cars will do one of three things, sell you stuff, attack you, or try to join you.  Upon entering car 3, a spectre blocks the door preventing you from leaving, fight it and climb on to the roof of the car.  Sabin will jump across on of the cars and you will be able to detach the rear train cars.  Flipping the switch again opens the path back up for you.  In the dining car, you can sit a the center table, and you will be served food to recover all your HPs and status.  In the next two cars, there are treasure chests and you will fight Ziegfried.  After the 8th car, your spectre companion(s) will leave, and will will have the option to save in the coal car.  Flip the outer two switches in the engine and press the button on the smoke stack to stop the Doom Train.  It will attack you.  After, there will be a sad scene about Cyan's wife and child, and you will go to Barren Falls.

Barren Falls
If Shadow hasn't left already, he will here.  Junp off the cliff;  you will have to fight Piranaha and Rizopas as you fall.  when you land on the Veldt, you will meet a young boy who will run away when you wake up.  If you see him on your wat to Molbiz, just attack him.

Molbiz  Items: Elixer, Tintabar
But at least one Dried Meat at the item shop.  Talk to the injured lad from Maranda and send the letter for him.  Then talk to the guy at the relic shop (you don't need to buy anything) then rest in his bed.  You can go back into his house and read another letter.  Do this for a while and when letters stop comming, talk to him and he will give you a Tintabar, then leave to find Gau.

The Veldt
When you see Gau, use Dried Meat on him.  He will join you.  then spend a while building his rage skills.  Gaurd and Bomb are pretty good, so try to get at least those two.  when you're ready head to Crecent Mountain.

Crecent Mountain  Party: Sabin, Cyan, Gau  Items: Tonic, -500 GP
Exploring the cave, Gau will find things for you.  On the lower left platform, Gau will find a Tonic.  On the upper left platform, Gau will pretend to find something and then scare Sabin causing him to drop 500 GP (If you don't go onto that platofrm, it will be avoided.)  Neat the exit, Gau will find the scuba gear (?) wich will let you breathe under water.  After you find it, you will jump into the Serpent Trench.  Always choose the right path and you will get an X-Potion and a Green Beret, anyway you choose though you will end up on the docks of Nikeah.  You can do some shopping there, or just get in the ferry to South Figaro.  Once you get on the boat, the scenario ends.

Hills of Narshe  Party: All of the above  Boss: Kefka
You will be fighting in three groups.  The object id to defeat Kefka before his troops reach Bannon and the Esper.  My recomendation is: Edgar & Sabin, Cyan & Celes, Locke & Terra, and Gau wherever.  Use Sabin and Edgar to take out most of the troops with Fire Dance (If you have it) and Bio Blaster, then take Locke and Terra to finish off the rest.  Use Celes and Cyan to attack Kefka.  After you defeat Kefka, there is a scene in front of the Esper Tritoch, Terra morphs into an esper and flies away.

Narshe  Party: Pick four, three if you want Shadow to join you.  Items: Elixer, Wall Ring, Sneak Ring, Hyperwrist, Theif Knife, Earrings, 5000 GP
There isn't nuch to do in Narshe, so you can explore the city and the mines (you may even see a yeti) but when you're done, head to Figaro.   It's in the same location that it was before.

Figaro
Go down the stairs to the left and talk to the guy there.  He can take you accross the mountains to Kohlingen.  If you have Sabin and Edgar in your party, there is a scene about how Sabin left the castle and Edgar became the king.  Also, pick up the Drill and the Flash tools.  If either Sabin of Edgar is in your party, you get them half off.

Kohlingen  Items: Green Beret, Elixer
Shadow is in teh Cafe, If you have less htan four characters, he will join you for 3000 GP.  If you have four characters and want him to join, go back to Narshe and leave one of your characters there.  In Kohlingen you will have the oppertunity to learn more about Locke's past and his lover Rachel.  The scenes are better if you have bith Locke and Celes there.  If you enter the house on teh northeastern end of town from the back, you will be able to get a Green Beret.  Also if you travel to the hut north of town, there is a Hero Ring in the pot there, otherwise, head south to Jidoor.

Jidoor  Items: Tincture
From here follow the light green strip of grass along the easter coast to Zozo.  There are chocobos for rent in Jidoor if you prefer.

Zozo  Items: Tincture x2, Chainsaw, Tonic, TheifGlove, FireKnuckle, RunningShoes, Potion, X-Potion
Espers: Ramuh, Stray, Siren, Kirin
In the building marked as the inn, there is a clock that needs to be set.  If you realize that all the people in Zozo, except the merchant lie, you can figure out teh time, or read here to find out that it is 6:10:50.  Setting the clock to this time opens a secret passage to the chainsaw.  Teh main building that you need to be concerned with is the one marked as the Relic Shop.  Climb up the building as far as you can, and then enter into the doorless doorway looking thing.  From there you can jump over to the next building.  You will need to do this four times total to get to the top of the building.  Just before you get to the top, you will need to fight Dadaluma.  After defeating him, you can enter a room where Terra is staying.  You will there learn about Magicite and a little about Terra's origins.  You will be instructed to go to Vector and rescure the Espers in the MagiTech reaserch facility.  Take Locke and Celes and two others and head to Jidoor.

Jidoor
Go straight to the large house on the north end of town. There you will meet Impressario who will say something about Celes looking exactly like the opera diva Maria and then his servant will tell you about Setzer who owns an airship and will be comming to abduct Maria durring teh performance, so head south to the Opera House.

Opera House   Boss: Ultros
Since Celes looks like Maria, she is used to take Maria's place and lets you get the airship from Setzer.  There is one part where you will control Celes durring the opera.  The lines are

If you sing the wrong words, you will be kicked out of the opera house and have to try again.  If you don't get it right in four tries the game is over.  After you get that part right, Ultros will try to drop a 4 ton wieght on Celes.  You will have five minutes to stop him.  In the far right room, there are the switche.  The far right one unlocks the door to the grid.  Playing with the others are fun, but since you are timed, I'd wait until the WOR to play with them.  Once you unlock the door to the grid, you will have to fight your way though the rats to get to Ultros.  The whole party will fall from the grid with Ultros crushing Ralse and Draco.  You will then be drawn into battle with Ultros.  Defeat him and Setzer will decend and take Celes to the airship.  On the airship, if you have bith Edgar and Sabin, Sabin will find out that the coin used to decide their fates was a two headed coin.  Using this, Celes tricks Setzer into helping you.

Albrook  Items: Elixer, Tincture, Potion, Warp Stone
I wouldn't suggest purchacing any of the weapons or armour on Albrook unless you plan on giong directly to Vector from there.  From Albrook, head either north to Tzen or south west to Maranda.

Tzen
All you can do here is purchase some deacent weapons and armour.

Maranda  Items: Remedy, Revivify
The same weapons and armour available in Tzen are here.  The far east house belongs to the girl that you wrote to in Molbiz.

Vector
The innkepper claims you can rest for free, but occasionally, he'll steal 1000 GP from you while you are sleeping.  It is better to either talk to the boy wandering around the city who will cast cure on you (it will only recover 1HP, though) or talk to the old lady in the tall, skinny house.  She will ask if you decare alligance to the empire.  Tell her no, and gaurds will attack you.  Every time after that she will restore your HPs and MPs.  You can explore the town, but don't talk to any of the soldiers, or you will be forced to fight tham and expelled to teh enterance of the city.  If you talk to the guy in the pub, you can find out why Kefka is so psycho.  If you go to the Imperial Castle, you will be forced into a battle with the Gaurdian.  You can not beat it, so just run from it.  There are sentinals gaurding the enterance to the Magitech Reaserch Facility, so to get in, you will need to talk to the old man by the boxes.  he will distract the gaurds while you sneak into the facility on the iron super structure.

MagiTek Reaserch Facility  Items: Flame Sabre, Tincture, X-Potion, Thunder Blade, Remedy, Zephyr Cape, Dragoon Boots, Tent, Gold Helmet, Gold Shld, Gold Armour, Break Blade   Bosses: Ifrit, Shiva, Number 024, Number 128, Cranes
Go down the stair s and go to where the little hook is moving back and forth.  Jump onto it, get the chest, then use the hook to jump back.  Now go right and enter the second little pipe that is to the right of the stairs, grab that chest and use the pipe to get back up and enter the first pipe.Grab the treasure chest there and go across the convayer belt for two more treasures.Now get off the convayer belt and go down a level.  Here you will fing five chests: one on the left side, one on the right side, one to the door just to the left of where you entered, one on the bottom (You can see it if you go down from where you entered, but you have to go around to get it) One in a small room east of the one with the Gold Helmet in it.  On the right wall, there is a pipe that you can enter that leads to a room with two more treasure chests in it.  When you're ready, jump back onto the conveyer belt and you will see Kefka push a couple of espers onto another conveyer belt.  Follow them.  Go and talk to Ifrit (the one on the right) and you will enter a battle alternating between Shiva and Ifrit.  they will give you their magicite once you defeat them.  The room on the left contains a save point, and you can advance throught the room on the right.  After a ton of stairs, you'll come to a room with large tanks in it.  there is  a hidden chest in this room.  Go to the far left end of the hall.  Now go down to the holding tank and search around.  you will find a Break Blade.  After the hall, there will be a door with Number 024 blocking it. After you defeaat him, you will enter a room with many holding tanks with espers inside of them.  Pull the switch at the switch at teh end of the room and they will turn themselves into magicite and give themselves to you.  Kefka comes in and Celes zaps herself, him, and the soldiers out of the facility.  Follow Cid after that.  You will be pushed into a mining car and use that to exit the facility.  At the end, you will be facing Number 128.  When you get back to Vector city scree, Setzer will take you to the airship and Kefka will launch some Cranes to stop you from leaving.  Once you defeat them, head to Zozo.

Zozo
You will be atomatically brought here and one of the Magicite shards (Maduin) will start to glow around Terra.  Terra will remember her past (wich you play).  It is pretty straightforward, recure Madonna, and then go after her when the Sealed Gate is being erected.  Once that's over, Head for Narshe.

Narshe
There are new weapons and armour in the shops for you to purchace, so be sure to stop by there.  As you enter, a gaurd will appear and take you to the mayor's house where you will meet with Bannon, Arvis, and the mayor to decide on how to attack the empire.  They decide that Terra should open the sealed gate and have the Espers help to storm Vector with both the Returners, Narshe, and Figaro.  They decide to send Terra to visit the sealed gate and talk to the Espers.  There are a few things that you should do before leaving, though.  Go to the house on the far eastern edge of town that had all the treasures in it.  Lone Wolf will be there and will have opened the chest that was locked.  Follow him into the mines to the Esper and he will have Mog there hostage.  Stay there and Mog will do a dance and shove both of them onto the cliff wall.  you can either take the Gold Hairpin from Lone Wolf or save Mog and have him join you.  Regardless of what you pick, Mog can join you in the World of Ruin, but he will be unable to learn the Water Rondo dance then.  Now head back to the airship and there are a couple of things that you can do.

Getting the Water Rondo Dance
There are acctually three way to go about getting Water Rondo, butI'll only tell the simplist and shortest way.  First, you must have Mog in your party (DUH!).  Fly to the Crecent Cave on the Veldt, and enter there.  Jump into the Serpent Trance and Mog will learn the Water Rondo dance down there.  When you surface in Nikeah, you can grab a chocobo and ride it straight to Barren Falls.  Then jump into Barren Falls and walk across the veldt to the airship.  This is beside the point, but once you have the airship, the auction house in Jidoor will open and you can purchase the Golem and Zone Seek magicite.  Also the man in Tzen will have the Sraphim magicite for sale at 3000 GP.  It is very worth it now, but if you wait until the World of Ruin, he will sell it for a measly 10 GP, but it's not nearly as valuable then.

Imperial Base
If you try to enter without Terra, you will be kicked out, so make sure that she is in your party when you enter.  The treasure room in the building is locked, so it won't do much good to try to get in.  Just go straight through to the cave to the sealed gate.

Cave to the Sealed Gate  Items: Assasin, Tempest, Coin Toss, X-Potion, Ether x3, Genji Glove, Tent, Elixer, Magicite x3,
Atma Weapon

In the room with teh moving brigdes, pull the switch on th ebridge.  Now follow the left path to reach a chest with a Genji Glove.  Now go back and take the right path.  Go up and pull the left switch.  If you pull the right switch, it will make you fight a ninja.  You can save your game in this cavern.  Pull the switch on the next bridge and go down the stairway that it makes.  Go through the hole after you get the treasure chest and step on both switches the you can see.  Go down and then left and step on that switch.  Enter the door that appears.  After getting the treasure, leave the room and go right to the far bridge and then go up.  Pull the switch, cross the bridge, and then pull the other switch.  Go up and left accross the bridges, Flick the switch inside the chest and go right, Grab the chest up the stairs and then go down and exit the room.  Go up the stairs and enter the doorway there.  Terra will attempt to open the sealed gate and you will meet Kefka (kinda) again.  Once you begin the battle with Kefka, Terra will open the gate, and the espers will escape and fly off.  A rock slide will re seal the gate and you can now leave the cave to the sealed gate though a new exit near the bottom of the screen of the last room with all the stairs.  When you enter the Imperial Base, you will meet the rest of your party, and you get on the airship.  On the way, the Espers attack the airship, and you crash near Maranda.  You can get a chocobo in the forest there or just walk to Vector.

Vector   Items: Back Gaurd, X-Potion, Tincture, Gale Hairpin, Revivify, Tintabar, Charm Bangle  Also: if you speak to the toilets, you will jump on them, squat, and flush
Go though the burning town of Vector north to the Imperial Castle.  Follow the guy who invites you into the castle to speak to Gestahl.  He will have you try to speak to all his men to tell them that the war is over.  From here on, your actions will be judged.  don't grab the treasures yet, and talk to all 24 of the soldiers all over the Imperial Castle.  Aslo, don't talk to Kefka, because he rambles on forever and doesn't could as a soldier that you've talked to.  Durring the Banquet, you will be given choices of responses that are also rated.  The point system is as follows:
Each soldier talked to:  1pt  (24pts total)
Each soldier fought: 4 pts  (20 pts total)

When you are done in Vector, go back to the Imperial Base.  If you didn't get that reward, go to Tzen.

The Flame Sabre is in the stove, and there is a hidden chest in the bottom right corner of the room.  After you're done here, go to Tzen.

Tzen   Espers: Sraphim
Talk to the guy hiding in the trees in the north east edge of town.  He will sell you the Sraphim magicite for 3000 GP.  If you get it now, you will have more time to learn the spells, but if you wait until the World of Ruin, he'll sell it to you for only 10 GP.

Albrook  Party: Locke, Terra
Go to the dock and talk to General Leo, then go to the inn and talk to the inn keeper.  There will be a scene that night with Locke and Celes on the viaduct.  Return to the ship and talk to Gen. Leo and you'll be on your way.

Thamasa   Party: Locke, Terra, Shadow   Itams: Eyedrop, Soft, Echo Screen, Green Cherry, Memento Ring
The second Memento Ring is located on the second story of Strago's house on the left wall.  The inn costs lots to stay there once you initially land (1500 GP) but once you've talked to Strago, the inn keeper lowers his pirce to 1 GP.  As you stay there that night, Strago will come and tell you that a neighbor's house is on fire, and that Relm is inside.  Shadow won't wake up in time to join you, but Interceptor will leave before you do.  Talk to Strago outside the house, and he'll join you to save Relm.

Burning House   Party: Terra, Locke, Strago   Items: Fire Rod, Ice Rod   Boss: Flame Eater
If you touch any of the wandering flames, you will be attacked by balloons.  I suggest tha tyou equip Strago with Shiva, and the Blizzard on Terra.  Also, once you find the Ice Rod, Equip Strago with it.  when you come to a choice of two door, pick the one on the right.  The left one attacks you with 4 balloons.  After that you will have to choose between two more doors.  the one on the right takes you to a room with a chest in it, and the left one takes you to the choice of two more doors..  In this choice, the right one has the Ice Rod, and the left takes you to some stairs.  Atop of the stairs, you will battle the Flame Eater.  Once you defeat him, you'll find Relm, but it's too late.  No matter how quickly you get there.  After he saves you, Shadow will leave, and you will go, with Strago, to a cave in the  the western mountains.

Gathering Place for the Espers   Party: Terra, Locke, Strago   Items: Heal Rod, X-Potion, Tabby Suit, Chocobo Suit   Boss: Ultros
The first room has three exits, but the top and left ones lead to each other.  Take the one on the right.  After a while, you will reach a room with three golden statues.  Examine them, and Strago will tell you about them.  When you leave to find the Espers from there, you will be attacked by Ultros.  Once his HPs run out, Relm will arrive.  Have her sketch him to finish the battle, and she will take credit for defeating him.  The next room has three tiles that you can step on.  These will break away and drop you one level.  the top left one leads to two chests, the right one, leads to one chest, and the bottom left one leads you to the Espers.

Thamasa   Boss: Kefka (fought as Gen Leo)
At this point in the game, it is like a fake ending.  The Espers and humans have come to an agreement, and everyone's happy, right?  Well it would be, except that Kefka comes on the scene and kills all the Espers and takes the magicite.  When you awaken as General Leo, you will have to fight Kefka.  At the end of the battle, Kefka will kill Leo, and then more Espers will escape from the Sealed Gate, and Kefka will kill them as well.  Strago and Relm will join you on the airship, and Strago will tell you more about the statues, and the Espers domain will float up into the sky.  When you're ready, pick three characters and fly up to the Floating Continent.

Onboard the Blackjack (Going to the Floating Continent)   Boss: Ultros, Chupon, Air Force
Before reaching the Floating Continent, you have to fight a whole bunch of Sky Armours, and Spit Fires.  After a while of fighting them, Ultros shows up and he brings Chupon along with him this time.  After defeating them, you will fall off the airship and fight the Air Force.  Once you defeat it, you'll land on the Floating Continent.

Floating Continent   Items: Mursame, Monster in a Box, Beret, Elixer   Boss: Atma Weapon, Nerapa
You land near a save point, and just a little below that, you'll find Shadow.  He'll join you when you talk to him.  Go rightand you'll come to a stairway leading to a seemingly solid wall.  Walk into it, and it will open.  Examine the blue orb just abovre that, and you'll get the Mursame.  Going right, leads to another blue orb.  You will be fighting a Giagantos here, and you recieve a Hardened for defeating him.  Now go back a little to the left and push up against  the indentation in the wall, step on the center of the square, andpress into the indentation on your right.  Now go right, down , and and right again to get to the next transporter.  Enter the bottom left one, and step on the switch, then go up nad press the switch there.  Now go down and left and you'll come to some stairs.  Follow this path until you have the choice to go left or right.  Go right and step on teh switch there.  Before entering there, go left and get the Beret from teh blue orb there.  Go back towards the transporter, and you'll run across another transporter that leads to a save point.  Save your game there, and go back to the other transporter.  After surfacing, you'll have theoption to return to the airship (there's no point in doing so, so unless you really want to, don't.)  Go up and once you defeat Atma Weapon, Shadow will leave you.  You'll watch a scene with Kefka and Gestahl and Celes will join up with you.  Once this is finished, you'll have 6 minutes to get off the floating continent before it colapses.  When you get to the airship, wait.  At about 5 seconds left, Shadow will areive.  If you don't wait for him, he's dead, and you can never get him back.


World of Ruin

Solitary Island
You wake up as Celes one year later on a small solitary island.  It seems that you and Cid are the only ones alive.  Cid is ill, and needs Celes's help to recover.  You can either kill him or save him, either way it gets you off the island.  To save him, feed him only the yummy fish, these are the fast ones.  If there are no yummy fis, go back in and talk to Cid. This takes less health off than feeding him bad fish does.  If you don't care, and just want to get on with the game, feed him whatever fish are there, and the slowest to kill him off.  If he dies, Celes will attempt suicide, but will be washed back up on the shores where a bird has Locke's bandanna, and She leaves to find him on a raft that Cid makes.  If Cid recovers, he gives Celes the raft to find her friends.  
Note: you will have nothing equiped, so be sure to equip Celes.

Albrook   Items: Tincture
A man was here looking for his friends?  He said that he was going to Tzen?  Okay, go north to Tzen.

Tzen   Items: Monster in a Box x2, Magicite. Drainer, Hyper Wrist, Tincture, Pearl Rod, Heal Rod
When you try to enter the town, Kefka uses the Light of Judgement to try to fry the town.  The house at the far north end is colpasing, and Sabin is there holding it up.  Equip Celes with a Jewled Ring, and enter the house.  Follow the paths downstair where the little boy is hiding on the fireplace.  When you take him out, Sabin will let the house colapse, and he'll join Celes in searching for everyone.  Leave the town, and go to teh far east town of Molbiz.

Molbiz   Items: Phoenix Down   Boss: Phunbaba
Go to the house that the kid enters and go downstairs.  After a flashback, leave the cave, and Phunbaba will attack the village.  Terra will try to attack it, but she will be easily defeated.  It will be up to Celes and Sabin to defeat him.  After scaring him off, Terra will decide not to go with you, but a kid will give you teh Fenrir magicite that Phunbaba drops.  Now leave town and head north west to Nikeah.

Nikeah
Enter the cafe and talk to everyone, then go back into town and talk to Gerad (accross from the armour shop).  Follow him to the ship.  You'll now be heading to South Figaro.

South Figaro
Go into the cafe and head though the door marked Inn straight to Gerad's room.  After talking to him, the theives will leave town.  When you are finished shopping, head to the cave west of town.

Cave to Figaro
When you enter the cave, Sigfreid will tell you to wait there, but don't listen to him.  there is nothing new about the cave since your last visit.  Once you get to the recovery spring, hop on the turtle.  This section is new, but Sigfreid has already looted all the chests.  You can find him doing this, but he runs off.  If you continue, you'll end up in the basement of Figaro Castle.

Figaro Castle Basement   Items: Gravity Rod, Crystal Helm, Ether, X-Potion, Regal Crown, Soul Sabre   Boss: Tentacles
The path has no options until you reach a room with four chests and three doors.  The right one is the one that you entered through, the left one leads to a treasure room, and the middle room leads to where Edgar is.  Once you get there, Gerad will admit that he is Edgar, and you'll have to fight the Tentacles.  When you defeat them, go into the treasure room, and search the statue, and you'll find the Soul Sabre.  After this, backtrack tot eh old man, and he will surface the castle.  You can find new tools in the shop, and once you're ready, talk to the old man again and you will be heading to Kohlingen.

Kohlingen
Enter the cafe and you will meet Setzer.  He will join you and lead you to where another airship is parked.

Darill's Tomb   Items: Crystal Mail, Czarina Gown, Exp Egg, Genji Glove, Man Eater, Monter in a Box   Boss: Dullahan
A walkthrough for a game this long is going to take a long time to finish composing.  It will be finished when I have the time, or never.  Whatever I feel like.
