Dear Euterpe,

Not everyone can pull off the purple lipstick, earrings, long purple fingernails, red dress, heeled shoes, mussy hair, and scarred/masked look. It takes a good deal of self-confidence and a good deal of  looking before you find something that's uniquely "you". Some people would look silly dressed as I do. I dare anyone to tell me I look silly.

What do you mean, excluding Mikagami? *pout* He couldn't look good in my armor if he was in a roomful of elderly ladies sans glasses, with the light behind him. And he doesn't have the cool vest/T-shirt/baseball cap combo that I have, either. I look kakkoi. He'd look like a slob. He needs more arm muscles. And maybe if he braided his hair, and had fangs, and grew his bangs longer so you couldn't see his eyes...

You know, I saw some Sakura/Li doujinshi [from Cardcaptor Sakura] come in the mail the other day, addressed to Kurei... I think perhaps he's hiding something. Me? I'd say my favorite anime girl is Hikari, from Escaflowne. Terrific kid. My favorite guy? I think the Blue King from Basara, Asagi, is kind of cute. I was thinking about putting him and Raiha together in my next fic...

I can't think of any other anime girls who are half the woman that Fuuko is... although I think Tskushi-chan from Hana Yori Dango has some similar spunk. Men...? If you put me in a yaoi fic, Joker, you'll have more to worry about than exposing Kurei's affection for ClAMP's work. But in a non-yaoi way, I kind of like the guys of Weiss Kreuz... they remind me of me, somehow. Ruroni Kenshin's okay, too... I like the OAV's better than the TV series, though.

Now that Joker mentions it, Sasara is a pretty nice girl from Legend of Basara. She can be a bit wimpy, sometimes. Haruka from BSSM is all right... Sana-chan from Kodomo no Omocha is brimming over with energy, and she's okay when I'm in the mood for that sort of thing. Pretty much any of the guys from Basara are cool, although Shuri's way better than Asagi. Hayama from Kodomo no Omocha is cute; who can resist Tasuki from Fushigi Yuugi; Mosquiton from Master of Mosquiton is a peach... ahem. Of course, no one can hold a candle to my Kurei-sama.

First of all, I think you're a really cool character. I also think that you and Joker (Joker is really cute...) would look great together. Why can't you just return his obvious affections for you?

Perhaps it's because I already have a man I love? Perhaps it's because I'm not about to throw myself after someone from Osaka, of all places? Perhaps it's because my standards are too high to ever consider that freak?! Nahh... those are too easy and straightforward. I'm content looking great together working together, but if I ever see a doujinshi out about us, I swear I'll burn it.

I've got a Hime, and a Koibito... but my Koibito went and married another man (how cruel!), so it's not so bad if I pay some extra attention to my fangirls! It's not so much the title that's important, it's your feelings for such an obviously kakkoi group of people such as ourselves. Sure, I can only have one Hime... one Koibito... but anyone's welcome to be my Number One Fan!

ANYWAY, I've a question for everyone^^ What do you think of this whole Raiha and Fuuko thing? I mean, woah, talk about star-crossed.  Although, i LOVE the idea of them pairing up together, they kinda remind me of Kaoru and Kenshin though O.o;;
PLUS, I have NO IDEA why, but Joker somewhat reminds me of Duo from Gundam W oo;;

I don't think Raiha and Fuuko have anywhere near the chemistry that Neon and I have. However, their... interestingly violent... relationship is much better-documented than ours is. I guess some of us prefer to be away from the paparazzi, while others thrive in the spotlight, ne?

I think that Raiha should see whoever it is that makes him happy. If that's Fuuko-san, then he should be able to see Fuuko-san. Although judging by the number of times she beats him up, it makes me wonder about his tendencies.

*ahem* Amazing... how even when you think its just two people in a pitch-black magic cauldron, and one of the people is brain-dead... amazing how these stories can manage to get around. It certainly didn't come from me... H'mm... But if you notice, I tried waving my hand in front of her face, and gave her a good slap before I tried my Last Resort. It's not my fault she didn't react to the other attempts... but I did what it takes. And if it takes getting heartily pummeled by the damsel-in-distress, I can take it. Not once. He just thinks it's pure fiction made up in the random minds of one of my (hordes, remember) of drooling fangirls... perhaps late one night, staring at a computer, her brain  fried from her tests? Little does he know of our constant midnight rendezvous... our murmured sweet nothings as we pass each other in the hallway... an affectionate squeeze when no one's around... Unlike SOME people, who go around doing their affectionate squeezing for all the world to see, I happen to be more gentlemanly about it (to be read: I don't wait until the object of my affection is brain-dead). And a lot more subtle, too. All the more reason for everyone to love me! (And write lots of fics, too!)

Fuuko is still young. She needs a chance to see what there is in the world... and Domon and Mikagami both happen to be part of the world. However, I have very little doubt that ultimately, she will end up with me. But I'm patient, and can wait. Say, did you give those chocolates to Fuuko like I asked you to?

Dear Uruha Jyushinshuu-wannabe,

People change. We evolve. Our personalities are based upon our life experiences. It can be difficult to realize, sometimes, but sometimes, we move on. Kurenai filled a very-much-needed gap in my life when she was with me, and I loved her dearly then. But she died... and it can be painful to hold on to the past, letting it affect your present happiness too adversely. Ganko-chan pretended that Reiran was her mother... and yet Ganko-chan knew that her real mother was dead, and that Reiran was only a copy, a substitute. It made her happy... but she still knew the difference between reality and fantasy. My Kurenai is dead, and there will never be another one who is truly "Kurenai". Even my Kurenai flame is not truly Kurenai-- it is the Hoh Oh, taking Kurenai's form. Kurenai is gone... and for me to try and hold on to her, or hope someone else will be her, is unrealistic for me. I cherish the time we had together, and I cherish the memory of her and our love-- but I would have to go with "d".

I would (a) tell Kurei-sama about her, as a point of interest, but not go to too many lengths to have them actually meet up. Some things should be better off left buried. I certainly wouldn't kill her-- I liked Kurenai-sama very much. She made him happy. And it's Kurei's happiness that is the most important here, ne? I exist only to serve him. And, as time went on, I'd probably forget about her. It's not good to obsess over the possibility of a rival... Confidence! Confidence is the key!

I'm always Neon's ninja, first and foremost! But, seeing as Neon is quite a capable woman in her own right, and doesn't need rescuing too often, I seem to have a bit of spare time-- after the Mori Kouran affair is wrapped up. I'll start practicing now, so I'll be a good ninja... perhaps Raiha can give me katana lessons! (Although could I be a ninja with a Taishaku Kaiten?)

Hey, all! Chill again! Well, I've been thinking (wow! miracle!), and considering you four are basically the funniest characters (and most kakkoi, too)...oh what the heck? Get to the point, Chill... well, I always go to this website called Godric's Hollow. It's really popular because the Webmistress had the characters kidnapped and forced to watch lousy fan fics about themselves...and they couldn't escape. So I was thinking, you don't HAVE to be kidnapped, you know. Why not watch fics written by your loyal fans, too? (Joker, that thing the Webmistress did made her site REALLY popular...and the usually overlooked guy got TONS of drooling fan girls, catch my drift?)

I watched a MST3K of "The Pod People" last night. Heheheh! Bad movie, good riff! There were two lines I almost choked on, laughing at. Which is a good sign... But do you think we would allow ourselves to be kidnapped? We're Jyushinshuu! *strikes pose* H'mmm, though... TONS of drooling fan girls, you say? Not that I need any more than I already have (ahem), but, h'mmmm...maybe I could let myself be kidnapped... for the sake of Art and Humor, of course. Gotta love Humor.

The idea's been tossed around, but the problem is finding MST fodder. The majority of the FoR fanfiction is of a very high quality. Partly because FoR is still relatively obscure, partly because I guess we have a habit of attracting talented fans. Now, say, if someone wanted to write a fic expressly for the purpose of being MST'd, we're more than willing to... but to date, no one's taken us up on the offer.

I'd love to MST any fanfic that puts me with that jerk, Joker. But unfortunately, except for the incredibly improbable premise, there's not much really left to poke fun at... and so I would come across as being a spoilsport. Maybe I could rummage through some of Mokuren and Mikoto's 'love poetry' I found... when they...um, left... the Mansion,  some of their stuff got left behind.

I have yet to read a fic which truly does my tragic past, the torment in my sole, or my twisted personality justice. Then again, I don't care. It's not their business anyways what I think or why I'm the man I am today. Therefore, any of their pitiful, insect-like attempts at trying to analyze me are automatically available for ridicule. Especially the ones pairing me with Raiha or Koganei or Mikagami, in an attempt to give me a newfound purpose in life. Bah.

Dear Ice Angel,

I'm a loyal member of the Jyushinshuu... and I wholeheartedly uphold the laws of the Uruha. It was very, very bad form for me to have given Recca such information. I shouldn't have portrayed Kurei-sama in such a weak light to his enemy-- imagine! He's worked hard for that strong, cold, and heartless facade... if Kurei-sama wished to show his more human side, he would show it himself. It wasn't my place to destroy his mask, as it were. However, I couldn't bear having Recca-- or anyone, for that matter-- to make such a judgement about Kurei-sama, without knowing all the facts. I knew I was skating on thin ice, but it was worth it. I was ready to deal with the consequences. If you're asking if I enjoyed it, of course not. But I'm not upset that he beat me so badly, because it was what I deserved for breaking our rules. The Uruha isn't a Sunday school. If we do something wrong, we have to be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Are you in love with Neon now?  Considering you guys kinda ermm. . . you know in manga 17.  Or do you just have strong feelings for her?  What about Kurenai, since her soul is your flame, isn't it weird do have feelings for Neon, since your ex-gf still lives inside you?  Don't get me wrong now.  I think you should be with Neon, she's very sweet to you!  Shame on you for treating her so badly sometimes!

Dear Ice Angel,

I love Neon very much. As if it's anyone's business but mine... but yes, I'll admit it. The events which happened after the Tournament made me rethink my life... it made me find new priorities. I still have much to repair, but with the help of the others, perhaps I'll be able to focus on what's really important in life. Regarding Kurenai-- she doesn't actually live inside me. I merely allow my Flame to take her shape... but it does not have her soul. My dear Kurenai died several years ago, and I wouldn't give up a moment I spent with her for the world. However, everyone must continue on with life at some time, and I believe that this is that time.
