Don't overlook Purdue.  They'll burn you.  I think Purdue is gonna come to play, but Michigan will be able to hold them off.  Guys like John Navarre and....uh.....Marlin....Jackson.....and.....Perry.  Wolverines are pretty viscious too.  Who do you think would win in a fight between a wolverine and a badger?  Keep in mind that the badger that I'm picturing is slightly bigger than a wolverine.  If I ever do a poll on my page, this'll be the first one.

I really like Michigan in this one, Ive always liked em, and today will be NO different.  Folks, Purdue just aint it like they used to be!  They do got da whiteboys but they aint like dat!

Phil: Michigan, 29-21

Purdue looks decent some weeks, and bad others.  Which Purdue will show up?  Whichever one does, it won't be enough to beat Michigan, even in Ross-Ade.

Auburn (35), (37) at Florida (26), (24) (Phil's Pick)
: Final Score: Florida, 30-23
CFN: Florida, 34-30

Florida desperately needed last week's game for the sake of the season.  They desperately need this one for the sake of their coach and QB.  I think they'll pull it out, but it'll be even closer than this score shows.  Late field goal/turnover combination wins it for Florida.  By the way, does anyone else think that Florida fans are spoiled?  It's not like it's even their players they're bringing in.  They get the best players in the country, cheer for them like they're their own, and then get pissed if they dare to be a "regular team".  I hope they lose now.  Bitches.

Two teams fighting hard for dignity right now.  UF is not the same.period.  Spurrier was so much of this offense as we all see now.  Without him Grossman is averageshows you that it really was Spurriers system that got the winsns.  Imconvinced that Auburn is a god team that has to prove it today, and unfortunately for the Gators, they will do just that.

Phil: Auburn, 20-17

These two teams have crying fans.  Waawaawaa.  Especially Florida!  It's Ron Zook's first year, geez!  Try supporting a team like the Pittsburgh Pirates, Gator fans.  I would say that the Gators can't lose against non-national powerhouses in the swamp, but LSU dispelled that myth bigtime.  Auburn could take a Cadillac to a victory.  Cadillac Williams!  His real first name is Carnell.  That rhymes with "Taco Bell."  They have good, cheap food.

Mississippi (21), (22) at Alabama (24), (U) (G's Pick)
: Final Score: Alabama, 42-7
CFN: Alabama, 31-21

This one won't be close.  Bama.  What a great year!  Alabama's great.  Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame....all great.  We have a great service academy, UMD's doing not terrible, and the Florida teams are kind of down.  To top it off, Oklahoma just beat Texas and has a chance to prove that they're for real this week against a great Iowa State.  No disrespect to Manning and Ole' Miss, but they can't touch Alabama right now.  In my opinion, if anyone in the SEC can touch Jowjah and LSU, it's Bama.

man!  Crazy!  Eli manningtoday will be the day of the Elis! Manning will WORK IT LIKE WHOA!!!  ;)  Bama isnt bad at all though.  Theyre no pushover, but neither is Eli Manning and he will show em just that.   Way to go!

Phil: Alabama, 30-17
13.2 points
Why are they always referred to as "Ole Miss," anyway?  Can't it just be Mississippi?  How old are they, actually.  If we are talking about the state, not that old.  Not even one of the original thirteen.  University can't be that much older than most.  Maybe it's due to the "Good Ol' Boy" feel the name gives ya.  I like it.  I don't like them to win this game, though.

Minnesota (33), (26) at Michigan State (Joe's Pick)
: Final Score: Minnesota, 28-7
CFN: Minnesota, 34-28

Minnesota's not good.  Really.  OK, I have no idea if they are, but it seems fundamentally wrong.  Go to Canada, Minnesota.  We don't want you here.  Michigan State has nothing.  But they have Charles Rogers, which is enough for me to give the Spartans the two-TD nod.

G: Michigan State, 27-14

MSU really isnt the MSU they usd to be, theyre getting better, but they aint the Spartans this year.  I dunno who they are, but theyre going to have to prove something today with charles rogers.hopefully they will.  I know they will actually.

Phil: Michigan State, 38-18

I'm tired.  Then I see this game on the list.  Doesn't exactly give me a second wind.  Minnesota beat up weak teams early and now they'll pay dearly in their conference games
