They also say that you shouldn't go swimming within an hour of eating, or something like that. Who is this "they", anyway? I say neither of these guys has much hope for the Heisman. If I had to submit my final picks to "them" right now, I'd say Maurice Clarrett or Phillip Rivers, after strong BCS finishes. Anyhoo, the PAC 10 is confusing to me, but I think I have this one figured out. If not, I go back to knowing absolutely nothing about this conference. Confusing. Like marsupials G: Washington State, 31-24 18.6 points Jason Gesser vs Carson Palmer or something? Two of the west�s finest�if not two of the nation�s finest at this point in time. I think Jason will get the best of the USC defense, but it�ll be hard to get past that crucial secondary. Phil: Washington State, 28-24 19.2 points Infernal West Coast football! Ugh, got me, these two teams might be the conference's best, and Wazzu is at home, so dog-eat-dog, so... Sproles. Roberson. Newman. Dunnigan. Pierce. Lamone. Those are the big 6. Colorado is a team that I called overrated at the beginning of the season, but was still scared of as an Oklahoma fan. I'm no longer scared of them, but Kansas State is creeping. The one concrete fact we have about this game is that both teams have played USC , within a week of each other. Colorado lost a nail-biter, 40-3, while Wesley Snipes, Goldie Hawn, and the rest of the Wildcats won 27-20. Go Wildcats. G: Colorado, 27-13 14.4 points Eli Roberson wants to win this one�.but he won�t. Kansas State, who had arguably the best defense in the big 12 last year, is ready to shut down the Colorado rushing game, but will Eli respond by converting or going 3-out so many times that he looks like a high schooler? Colorado has been unimpressive all year, and gots to watch out for Darren Sproles. Penn State (20), (21) at Wisconsin (19), (15): Final Score: Penn State, 34-31 Harmon: Penn State, 23-13 15.0 points CFN: Wisconsin, 24-20 10.8 points Joe: Penn State, 31-28 19.4 points This game features the worst undefeated team in the country. Unfortunately, it's against a (still) overrated Penn State. Who know what'll happen. I'm pulling for Joe-Pa, and I think he can do it. This game is tough, because neither team has really played anyone. Nebraska? Oy. Arizona? I guess....maybe. Anyway, I look for Penn State to win it by a hair, as Joe Pa starts cashing in his long reserved coupons to the football gods. For all I know, Washington, Washington State, and USC, and maybe Oregon are all clones of each other. Well, maybe USC is the best....I think the hardest part is that each of them have huge potential, but are really consistently inconsistent. I guess I'll take Washington by a couple scores, but I'm not happy... G: Cal, 30-21 18.4 points I love cal still. Pac � 10 is sick as much as I don�t� want to admit it. The kids now adays don�t really respect Cal cuz it�s a bunch of smart guys�..stanford. Need I say more? No nono�you know what? Cal�s defense makes you feel like a little boy out there.
