WEEK 10
Showcase Picks:
Arizona State at Washington State: Final Score: Washington State, 44-24
CFN: Washington State, 34-31
14.6 points

Joe: Washington State, 35-24
16.4 points
Sorry Devils, it ends here.  Washington State is just better.  The interesting subplot here, of Course, is Tommy Lee Suggs and the sacks lead.  Watch out for Gesser to turn Heisman voters' heads this week.  This game is a huge deciding factor in the PAC 10 championship.  If Gesser has a huge game, he's officially on the radar.

Phil: Washington State, 35-30

Oh, snap!  No you didn't!  Oh snap, oh snap!  That's the craziest hullabaloo to ever go down this side of the Mississip'!  Don't drink and drive, kids!

Minnesota at Ohio State: Final Score: Ohio State, 34-3
CFN: Ohio State, 31-24
11.0 points

Joe: Ohio State, 31-10
16.6 points
Minnesota gets a courtesy appearance on the showcase.  Yes, they have an unexpectedly great record, and yes they have....um.....OK, they haven't actually played anyone, and will finish off with a not-great record.  Ohio State isn't the greatest, but they're good enough to win out.  I really wish the BCS could schedule 3 games that need to happen at the end of the season.  For instance: Iowa vs. Ohio State, played at Indiana.  But they won't, and if a couple teams choke up, Ohio State can cruise to the Fiesta Bowl.

Phil: Ohio State, 27-7

Minnesota?  Watupwitdat?  They're all up north and shit.  No way they beat the Buckeyes.  Turkey on rye bread in the oven, bam, Maurice Clarett!

Florida at Georgi
a: Florida, 20-13
CFN: Georgia, 31-20
7.8 points

Joe: Georgia, 31-28
9.4 points
This is a really really close one.  Florida needs this game for a number of reasons.  Georgia needs this game for the Fiesta bowl.  I say this is one of those huge games that comes down to one huge play.  Georgia is going to pull it out in the end, much to the dismay of the poor, poor 8-4 Florida fans.

Phil: Georgia, 28-18
8.6 points
Big ol' Cocktail party!  Florida could make trouble, but you need Tom Cruise when it comes to Cocktail, and the Dawgs gots him.  Show me the money!

Colorado at Oklahom
a: Final Score: Oklahoma, 27-11
CFN: Oklahoma, 35-17
18.4 points

Joe: Oklahoma, 28-21
16.2 points
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Doggie!  Preview of the Big XII Championship?  Methinks.  I'd like to see Oklahoma-Kansas State so much more than a rematch, but whateva.  This game has worried me for quite some time, but I think we got this one.  Fiesta Bound, Biatch!  You know Sproles is a sophomore?  Sick.

Phil: Oklahoma, 31-24
15.6 points
Hoohoo!  This'll be something!  Colorado's all like, "Man, we've been ruling lately," but Oklahoma's like "BCS #1, homeboyzzz!"  Somethin' goin' down!

Non-Showcase Picks:

Boston College at Notre Dame (Phil's Pick
): Final Score: Boston College, 14-7
CFN: Notre Dame, 24-17
8.8 points

Joe: Notre Dame, 35-17
4.4 points
A repeat of history?  I think not.  Willingham is too good to let it happen again.  I am finally on Notre Dame's side.  They have nothing great on offense, but it is good enough, combined with that defense.  Notre Dame has a tough game against USC after this stretch, but they have a legitimate shot at the title game when all the dust has settled.

Phil: Notre Dame, 28-25
8.8 points
BC plays ND tough, they beat 'em after the Irish beat FSU in a big game years ago.  It sucked, I cried. That damn FG.  But if we took a holiday, took some time to celebrate, yeah!  Carlyle Holiday!  Holy crap! Wake up the echoes!

Colorado State at Air Force (Joe's Pick)
: Final Score: Colorado State, 31-12
CFN: Colorado State, 27-24
14.4 points

Joe: Colorado State, 31-28
13.6 points
Colorado State!  Colorado State!  At times like this, I like to look back at weeks of FAFG past, when we were praising Cecil Sapp as the front-runner of the Heisman list, and putting Colorado State at the top of our surprises of the year.  While they are surprising, and have a shot at the MWC in this game, we did get a little bit carried away.  Who cares though.  CS rules!  (not counter strike, or computer science, or even Cathy Sillers)

G: Air Force, 34-28

G's only pick this week, and it was wrong.

Phil: Colorado State, 31-21
