| Joe: Charlie Garner. Not bad. I hear things about Mr. Fargas from USC, but not bad. This is the fourth round. Get your starting QBs where you can. According to my theory, this is the year that no one talked about the geriatric Raiders, so this is the year that they play like fogies. Watch for a drop in Garners production. In real life, hes a stud (or a bama if youre on the other team) but fantasy wise, he wont be a hottie. Quote me. Phil: Charlie is one of those guys who I just cant bring myself to pick, even if hes good, a la Garrison Hearst. So forget about this sucka MC. My head hurts. Im going to continue typing through the next picks despite this problem. Joe: I started taunting Phil with this pick. I knew for sure that he was aiming at Plax or Ward here. Right now, Im singing the Oooooh-wooooh part of Ducktales, but thats irrelevant. G got a great pick with Plax. Hes huge, hes on a passing team, and he has an X in his name. Has it ever let anyone down? Malcolm X? Steve Sax? Xavier McDaniel? I didnt think so. Phil: Son of aPlax! G blindly felt around and pulled out the Big Plax. Hes 8 ft. tall and pushes off DBs so brilliantly. You cant cover a man that large! Sighgreat pick. I wanted him in this round. I wanted him so much. Only three picks away. Ah well. At least Ill get Hines. Joe: Oh sooky-sooky now. There went Phil. He done missed out on Ward and Plax. I taunted mercilessly, but no one else cared that much. I thought it was hilarious that he missed his two lovers by two picks. Why didnt you taunt with me? I honestly dont think Ward will be the #3 again, but this pick is sehr gut. Phil: This is a nightmare. Thats the first thing I thought after Ade said, I guess Ill take his partner in crime, then. He selected Hines and it felt like someone kicked me in le groin. How did this happen? Damn my fellow Hagerstown Outlawz. People underrated Hines for no reason going into the year; he was the #3 fantasy WR last year, and he should get similar numbers. Joe: Holt. Holt 45. Hes a fiver, thats for sure. Even if Warner isnt back, Holt is a bolt. That doesnt make sense, but by that, I mean that hes a good fellow. Tory Holt is awesome. I love that he went to N.C. State, but I love that hes awesome even more. Im trying to get him right now. Hes one of my unjustified loves. Phil: Eh. Holt doesnt light my fire anymore. Come on Torry, light my fire. He said he wont set himself on fire for me anymore. Two separate song references. The first one, everyone will get. The second reference, probably no one. In my eyes, this was too early. Joe: There went the other fiver. He was the highest guy on my board. I guess Ill have to take Eddie George now. Last year I mentioned that Toomerd be on the All-Ah-nold Team. This year, Ill mention that hed be on the All-Joe-Awesome Team. I think Collins is cool, and Toomer is cool enough to catch for him. Actually, Toomer is a Boomer. Or a Sooner or something. Who knows? Phil: Well, it had to be done. I couldnt wait any longer for a top-flight WR, and after missing out on my brothers Plax and Hines, Amani was the way to go. Hes a great WR, and he has a fun name. Good pick, but I still wish I had a Stiller WR. |
