Pick Player/My Ranking/Tier What does Master Joe think?
Jamal Lewis 6 Tier Points Bret Favre 6 Tier Points Tiki Barber 5 Tier Points Aaron Brooks 9 Tier Points Steve McNair 8 Tier Points
Joe: Jamal Lewis is a good guy, but as I always say: he left because Travis Henry came to town. Also, hes on the Ravens. I challenge the Ravens to break 280 yards passing, even with 8 in the box. Poor Jamal Lewis. Luckily, he plays teams like the Browns, who like to allow 295 yards at a time. Good pick, but please dont expect anything like week 2 to happen ever again in his career. Phil: Jamal. C-Bear and Jamal! Anyone remember that jonx on FOX? Anyway, everyone knows the man broke the rushing record by now. And if you dont know me by now, you will never ever ever know me...anyway, great pick by ESPStefaN. Joe: Brett Favre and LaDanian Tomlinson. Not too bad. I actually prefer Brooks, McNair, Brady, and Bledsoe, but Brett Favre is a great guy to have. Does anyone know that his rookie card spells his name Farve? Thats how it should be anyway. Before I move on, a bit of draft background: Arun seemed to have trouble keeping up with which players had already been picked. Look for this theme later. Phil: Favvv-rah. Arun loves him so much. This is a good pick around this time. But why does Arun love him so much? Thats the real question here. Cause hes a gunslinger? Guess what, Roony, Tommy Maddox is the new sheriff in Gunslingin City. Love him. If you dont, I will. Joe: I prefer a lot of players to Tiki Barber. I forget why. Isnt he losing carries? Or not good? Or something? Hes supposedly going to drop off for some reason, but if you dont believe in a source that I cant even remember, I guess Barber is pretty OK. Phil: In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki room, all the birds sing words.wait, no one understands that Disneyworld reference. Or do you? Ever been there? Anyway, I think this is a great value pick here. He got mad busy last year, boyyyyyardee! Joe: My secret plan paid off. I figured that Brooks or McNair would be here, but I didnt think James would. Taylor, Lewis, Dillon, and Barber have gone since my last pick. James might have been here, but he might not have. Im definitely happy with my third pick. I didnt even think Aaron Brooks would make it to my second pick. Brooks, James, Portis. I like it. Phil: I dont knowI think I loved Aaron Brooks in my rankings. I think I would have taken him about here. But I dont really remember, and the power is out (Im on a laptop), and my infamous fantasy notebook is somewhere in the darkness. Ah well, youre here for comedy, anyway. Sopoop! Haha. That never gets old. Joe: I have decided recently that Steve McNair is the best quarterback in the NFL. You really wouldnt be able to convince me otherwise. Maybe you could sway me towards McNabb. Maybe you could explain why Vick will be better. For now though, McNair is at the top, and whoever it is, its not a white guy. I dont care how strong your arm is. It doesnt open things up or restrict linebackers like a running-fool quarterback. That being said, McNair is not the best fantasy QB. I have him high, but hes always an injury risk. Hell do whatever he has to to win. Riley might have the most NFL talent on his team right now, in Faulk, Harrison, McNair. I love me some McNair. Phil: Air McNair is tha shizznit. I wouldnt have taken him this early, fantasy-wise, but in real life, I think hes one of the leagues best QBs. I always think Tennessee is in the game, because Steve McNair is on their side. Not a great pick, but picking McNair could never really be bad.
