| Home | StaffSenior Wrangler In some establishments the Senior Wrangler is the Head Philosopher; it others he is in charge of looking after the horses. At the UU the Senior Wrangler is the Head Philosopher who looks a lot like a horse. He is quite light for a wizard; this may have quite a lot to do with his therory involving long foods. He thinks that eating foodstuffs such as runner beans could make he grow taller. This of cause does not work, but he is not half as fat as the other members of the faculty. He is a cautious man most of the time. He didn't want to go to go to Mono Island; he was fearful of such things as Pineapples and prawns. They had claimed members of his family in the past. Although he is a wizard, he falls in love quickly and easily. In the Hogfather he falls for the Cheerful Fairy; the Archchancellor remarks its the only time he has seen he burst into tears. In the Last Continent the object of his affection is Mrs Whitlow. The Senior Wrangler comes from a quite humble family. He resents this fact as he is surrounded by people from quite rich families. In Hogfather he is annoyed by the Deans arrogance; he used to hang up a whole pillowcase on Hogwatch. |
