Ajanduah - He was the inventer of The Wand of Utter Negativity in the Colour of Magic

Billet, Drum - Before a wizard dies he has a rite to give his staff to a successor. Billet travels all the way to Bad Ass, were an 8th child of an 8th son is being born. He gives his staff to the child and only vaguely notices that the midwife seems upset. He has given his staff away to a girl. Her name is Esk and she later becomes the first female wizard.

Billias, Skarmer - He was a high level wizard at the time of Sourcery. Coin challenged him to a duel. He lost and was killed by the staff.

Bird, Old "Dicky"- Remember by the faculty for his wandering mind. He is highly affected by high magical fields.

Boot, Denephew - He was a wizard who coined the phrase: Pailovian. He taught a dog to eat strawberry merigue at the sound of a bell. His parents had wanted a girl called Denise.

Carding, Marmaric - He was the 17 stone 8th level leader of the Hoodwinkers. He was killed by Coins staff

Catbury - He was the first wizard to specialise in genetics. It is disregarded by most wizards. Things are the way they are; or as the current Archchancellor would say: You get what your given so don't complain.

Changebasket, Skrelt - He re-founded the Ancient and Truly Original Sages of the Unbroken Circle. Learned the difference between normal and Great spells at the point of death.

Cheesewaller - C V DM (Unseen), B.Thau., BF. He comes from Quirm. He owns the raven called Quoth, who is a lot more famous than he is.

Churn, Ezrolith -A former Archchancellor of the UU, around about the times of Eric. Churn was writing a treatise on 'Some Little Known Aspects of Kuian Rain-Making Rituals'

Coin - Coin is the first sourcer for centuries. He is a wizard square and so very, very powerful. His father was chasted from the UU and was desperate to take it over. When his father died, he played a trick on death. He hid in coins staff so that he could control his son. Coin traveled to the UU and took over, following the command of his father.

He was however beaten by Rincwind, armed with a brick and a sock.

Cutangle - A former Archchancellor of the Unseen University and Archmage of the Silver Star. He is very fat and comes from Lancre. He is quite similar to Ridcully.

Cutwell, Igneous- He was 20 years old and living in Sto Lat when he was appointed Royal Recogniser to Queen Keli. He later became a Wizard First Grade of Sto Lat and Ipississimuss. Cutwell is round and good-natured, with no beard and curly hair.

Dewdby, Archchancellor- He invented a pair of boots which but the feet into different dimensions. He never anticipated the amount of strain that was put upon the groin.

Framer (Cucumber) - Student at the time of Windle Poons

Fresnel - He invented Fresnel's Wonderful Concentrator. It was a spell which needed rare ingredients. It was used to create a hydrophobe-powered lens. Hydrophobe is the repulsion of water.

Hookole, Scratcher- Was lucky enough to be one of the last wizards to have a "going away" party.

Ipslore the Red - He was the 8th son of an 8th son so of course he became a wizard. However he fell in love go married and had to leave the UU (Not neccessarily in that order). He went on to have 8 sons of his own. The youngest, Coin was a sourcerer.

Malachite, Tubal de - He studied dracology (draco, is latin for dragon) . He is best known for the writing "The Summoning of Dragons" . His experiments did not go well. Wizards are asked not to practise his work in the UU grounds.

Malich, Alberto- Founder of the Unseen University. He mysteriously disappeared after attempting to perform The Rite of AshkEnte backwards in the hope of fooling death. He did not so much fear death, as what lies beyond. He returned centuries later. It is known that he was displeased with his vandalised statue and destroyed this as a sign of his displeasure. He now has a larger tribute locked in the cellar away from the drunken antics of the student body. Malich (Albert) now resides in the land of death. He does a little cooking and cleaning for his master.

Marrowleaf -He is the inventor of the Theory of Thaumic Imponderability. I think this is the Discworld equivelent of the quantum theory.

Pimple - A student at the time of Windle Poons. Little is known about him.

Poons, Windle- Poons was 130 before he died. He was deaf and rode in a monster wheel chair. He very much enjoyed the Moving Pictures. He is however move famous for being dead. Due to the absence of Death, Poons' soul was not taken. He remained on the disc as a zombie. He caused considerable trouble to the senior faculty. As the Archchancellor would put it: The undead are unhygienic.

Riktor the Tinkerer- Riktor was a mathematician at the University. He believed that the meaning of the Universe was numbers. He invented The Mouser Counter, Swamp Meter, Rev Counter and the Resograph; this detects disturbances in the fabric of reality.

Rincewind - Rincewind is an incompetent wizard. He never scored more than 2% in any test and failed to complete his UU course. However, he did manage to save the UU, albeit with a sock with a brick in it, from Coin the Sorcerer. He was once the assistant librarian. He has been to most countries on the disc and is fluent in many languages. He has been to Hell and back. Rincewind is a non-smoker. He has an untidy beard; his clothes are a mess; his hat has been repaired so many times you can hardly see the original hat.

Rincwind, Bill - He is the archchancellor of the XXX University (of course everyone knows its not the real university). He may be a relation of Rincewind, who has no idea who his parents of family are.

Sluvver, Wally- Another wizard famed not for his life, but for his death. It took the other wizards 3 whole years to find out he was dead. Well, the students did say he was a little quiet!

Spelter - He was the Bursar at the time of Soucery. He came to an unfortunate end trying to save the library from Coin and his staff.

Trymon - He is a Seventh (later Eighth) level wizard of the Order of the Silver Star. Assistant to Galder Weatherwax. He like to think of himself as a good manager. He does not think about things being right or wrong; just about how efficient they are.

He is a class mate of Rincewind and quite young with black hair and grey eyes. He looks down on Rincewind as he is an incompetent wizard and so a waste of time and space, something Trymon does not like.

Wayzygoose, Virrid- He was going to be the archchancellor at the time of Sourcery. He was the first of the wizards to be killed by Coin's Staff. He was an old man who had been waiting his turn for Archchancellor for many years.

Weatherwax, Galder, Archchancellor - Rumour has it that he is related to the witch Esme Weatherwax of Lancre. He is noted as being the first (and only) Archchancellor to allow a girl to study at the UU. He is also famous for building a privy over a wormhole.

Worblehat, Dr Horace - I think that this is the Senior Wranglers name.
