The outside media on this assignment was done by freezing a strip of clay in the shape of the letter "L" in a block of ice. Its classification as a liquid sparked the idea accept I took it a step furthur by trapping the letter in its own characteristic.

For the product redesign, I felt that by redesigning a condom package I would be different from all of the other poducts and at the same time be a little humorous. I didn't really know what to think about the color choice of this package. I could only guess that it closely resembles a skin tone which would tie into the purpose of the product. Overall the color and the text were very dull.

In color theory red means passion and love. Therefore, I changed the product's color to a deep red tone that fades into its original color. I added a subliminal heart within the negative space between the silhouettes' chins. Along with the color red, the subliminal heart helps to advertise love in stead of sex, which would make the product more adequate. The qualities and the caution label of the product were colorized to help emphasize importance. The word "Lubricated" was italicized to give a liquid or lubricated appearance.

This was my first music portrait, but it has too many graphic elements. The band is a christian band, Jars of Clay. They have a song that inspires me everytime I here it, Wolrds Apart. The quoted words in the composition remind me not to have a big ego or get caught up in life that I forget God. The words in the background are the types of music I listen to.
