Liechtenstein pretty much began where it is today, right between Switzerland and Austria. It all started on that foggy morning in July when Liechtenstein was established somewhere around the early years of the 1700's. To give you an idea of how long ago that was, cars havent even been invented yet.
Some more stuff happen and WWI forced them for some reason to be apart of Switzerland. Later, they left that place and became their own country. Money laundering* soon became a problem. Liechtenstein later, however, implemented anti-money-laundering legislation. Soon, it became present. Like right now.
