| This Model A (Briggs Body) was brought to me for the installation of a new interior kit and top. A Briggs body includes more wood in the construction of the body than that of the standard Model A bodies at that time. Thankfully the wood in this car was in very good condition, and only a few minor parts needing replacement. This would be my second installation of an interior kit for a Model A. By this time I am beginning to pick up a few tips on interior installations, which made the project a bit easier than before. I believe the extra money spent on a good quality interior kit pays off in the end. The kit was well prepared and went together with only a few minor problems. I was not satisfied with the fit of the carpets - they seemed to "pucker" on the edges, but this was eventually corrected after the time these photos were taken. As with many projects, you learn more each time you try something new. |
