Raving Photos

While we are in Europe we plan on traveling quite a bit. We made a long weekend trip to Stuttgart, Germany in December. While there we made a side trip to a town called Esslingen that hosts a medieval Christmas market every year.

This is a very unique market. During World War II, Esslingen was one of the few German cities that did not suffer major bombardment damage. So their Christmas market continued to be held each year, even during the war. This makes their market the oldest continually operating Christmas market in Germany.

Here's a few of the pictures I took while we were there. Our camera battery died so we were limited to taking pictures with our phones.
