Scoundrel Days
Album review:
This album is considered a masterpiece (if you listen to the major part of the a-ha fans), but for me its different. The first part of the album have gotten all the strong tracks and they all have a special place in my heart. But the last half... Well, I don't listen to them regualry. Although some are more than wonderful.  7 p
Scoundrel Days
This song is a proof of that this album is very different from "Hunting High And Low", very strong lyrics and magnificiently sung by Morten Harket.  9 p

The Swing Of Things
An very good song with good lyrics. Nothing to complain about here!  8 p

Ive Been Losing You
This is a favourite of mine, good guitar playing by Paal Waaktaar and a great refrain that makes you wanna press the repeat button.  9 p

October
A moody song that should be played in the dark, great intro!  7 p

Manhattan Skyline
A strange song, it changes from soft to hard. The calm part is very good, but then they focus on the "funky" part and that is too bad, because it gives it a lower score. But there is one thing that saves this song and that is the live version on the "Move to memphis" single, that one is worth 10 points. But this is the album version Im reviewing so...  6 p

Cry Wolf
The weakest a-ha track of them all! No variation, no good lyrics and definately a weeaaaak song. I dont like it, no one Ive played it for has liked it and almost every a-ha fan dislike it. A clear: 1 point!

We Are Looking For The Whales
A cheesy pop song that still has some charm although its simply planned, an OK song.  6 p

The Weight Of The Wind
A good song that sounds much better in live concerts. This tune is a bit too electronic on the album.  5 p

Maybe, Maybe
Wow, here a-ha surprises you! It sounds like an ordinary album filler but in some mysterious way it slowly becomes one of the favourites on this album. I like the refain a lot.  8 p

Soft Rains Of April
A slow and depressing song that makes you wonder about life. Moody lyrics. Sound strange a bit strange...?  6 p
