12/07/01 - Club Bijou Toledo, Ohio MWF John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. The Amazing Fumar: Lots of high flying action between the two competitors. Balsamo tried to take Fumar out by hanging him upside down then ramming his head into a ladder. Balsamo pulled up Fumar before the three count looking to inflict more punishment. After missing a moonsault, Balsamo was helpless to Fumar's attack. Fumar placed a ladder over him and exicuted the Fumador for the win. Pictures

12/01/01 - Penn State University, NVW John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Johnny Dowe: Great technical match. Balsamo needed to use his manager Supa Sausage to gain the advantage over Dowe. While Dowe suplexed John into the ring, Supa Sausage triped Dowe. He then held Dowe's feet so he couldn't kick out. Balsamo won by pinfall.

11/23/01 - Lebanon, PA LWF John "The Paisano" Balsamo & Mongoose vs. Chris Stylz & Buzz: The more experienced team of Balsamo and Mongoose overpowered the new wrestlers. After pummeling them in the ring, Mongoose Press slammed Balsamo so he would land a splash on Buzz for the win.

11/17/01 - Marysville, PA POW John "The Paisano" Balsamo w/ Supa Sausage vs. Johnny Graham: Johnny Graham won after Balsamo missed a moonsault.

11/10/01 - Oregon, Ohio MWF John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Bill Yerd: Great technical work between both competitors. Bill was able to land a nice moonsault in the middle of the ring but Balsamo kicked out. The brawl got nasty outside the ring when John placed an open chair around Bill Yerd's neck and slammed him into the corner post. Balsamo used the paisanoplex from the top rope then put his feet on the second rope to get the win. Pictures

10/27/01 � Emmaus, PA Owls Home WWWA John �The Paisano� Balsamo vs. Heart Breaker w/ Showtime : Paisano was holding his own against Heart Breaker even though HB manager Mr Showtime was interfearing in the match. There was many near falls, and as Paisano was going to the top rope for a frog splash on H.B, Showtime shook the rope and John was singing soprano. Ref. Haney then got into Showtime�s face. for the infraction of the rules. As he was doing that, Heart Breaker took advantage of Paisano�s injury and suplexed him off the top rope. The for some unknown reason the dim witted Bart Shaw, who has not been seen in the WWWA for sometime made his way to ringside and hit Heart breaker w/ a chair as H.B landed on the 2nd rope for the Lion saw on Paisano. Paisano covered the stunned H.B. and the ref turn to make the 3 count on Heart Breaker.

10/13/01 Reading, Pa Exeter H.S. FWA John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Fumar the Great: Great chain wrestling leading into some fast paced exchanges of holds. Balsamo soon bailed out of the ring only to be followed by Fumar springboarding to the outside on top of him. High impact moves by both competitors. Balsamo could of finished off Fumar with a superplex from the top rope that almost tossed Fumar over the oposite side's top rope. After the over tired Balsamo missed a moonsault, Fumar hit his Fumacity for the victory.

10/06/01 Hagerstown, MD HoPWF John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Johnny Dowe: Fast paced match between both opponents. Dowe hit a real nice German Suplex and Balsamo hit an excellent missle drop kick. After Dowe missed a frogsplash, Balsamo exicuted a top rope crossbody for the win. Pictures

9/29/01 Toledo, Ohio Seagate Center MWF John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Sniper: Sniper was a little too quick for Balsamo so John bailed out of the ring to regroup himself. After being suplexed back in the ring, John gained control of the match with a jaw breaker. Balsamo continually cut off Sniper's air supply through chokes and various moves. Sniper soon made a quick comeback and exicuted a hunacanrana by the ropes that took both of them out of the ring. When they were back in the ring Balsamo beat Sniper with a trash can lid then almost polished him off with a missle drop kick. But instead of covering his opponent, Balsamo yelled at the fans. Returning to his opponent, John was surprised when Sniper punche the lid into Balsamo's face. Sniper then hit a face drop suplex for the victory.

9/08/01 Berkeley Springs, West Virginia Triple B Arena CPW John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Matthew Drew (The Doc): Balsamo attacked Matt and they then battled back and forth. Soon Balsamo got fustrated and went for Matt's eyes and took control of the match. John continually punished his opponent. When ever Drew got any offence, Balsamo beat him down. Taking his time on the top rope, Balsamo went for a crossbody but was counter by Matt's Wakiki Wave. Then Matt Drew was able to score the victory with a dropkick from the top rope.

9/07/01 Penn State University NVW John "The Paisano" Balsamo & Chris Styles vs. CZW's VD - Fast Eddie Valentine & Jon Dahmer: VD overpowered the duo of Balsamo and Styles in the beginning of the match. Soon Chris used a low blow to gain advange in the match. Balsamo came in and did everything he could to take all the wind out of Valentines sails. Continually choking Eddie and the continual relentless attacks slower wore the larger man down. While applying the camel clutch Balsamo continually worked on Eddie's back by jumping in the air and landing on Valentine's back. The third time Eddie spun around and Balsamo got a knee to the lower region. After Styles was tagged in, Dahmer was tagged in and cleaned housed. After a tremendous power bomb, VD finished off Balsamo with a Doomsday Device from the top rope for the victory.

8/24/01 Sellersville, Pa WWWA John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Chris Styles: Fast paced match but Balsamo continually outsmarted his taller oppenent. Chris finally went for the eyes to gain control of the match. Balsamo had a few quick come backs but was cut off by Chris� dirty tricks. After avoiding a frogsplash, �The Paisano� caught Chris with a top rope cross body for the victory.

8/18/01 Columbia, PA WSWF John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Matt Drew: Creative and very scientific match until Matt caught Balsamo with a closeline over the top rope. After Balsamo tried to match up again with Matt he soon got fustrated and raked Matt's eyes to gain the advantage. Matt had some impressive comebacks but was soon cut off by Balsamo's dirty manuvers. After Balsamo missed the Paisano Sault, Matt had a fierce comeback. After a flurry of moves he went for a backdrop and Balsamo layed a forearm and pulled his hair. Taking his time he decided to go to the top rope again after exicuting a Paisanoplex. Matt countered his crossbody and gave John the Wakiki Wave and then hit him with his top rope drop kick finisher. 06/23/01 Emmaus, PA WWWA John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. "Drinking Buddy" Johnny Walker: Both Wrestlers shook hands and started the match. Walker and Paisano had a test of strength and Walker knocked The Italian Wrestler on his back. He got up and Shook walker hand again. both wrestlers treaded moves and each countered them as well. Walker kept going over to his Valet to sneak a swig from the bottle when Sr. Ref, Haney wasn't looking. All that Drinking must have taken it toll on Walker. After missing an elbow from the second rope, John "The Paisano" Balsamo went to the top rope and hit Walker w/ a cross body off the top rope and rolled Walker up for the win. After the match Walker asked his opponent to came back to the ring and Walker raised John's arm in victory. Then the two had a drink on Walker in the center of the Squared Circle.

04/20/01 Lebanon, PA LWF "The Paisano" John Balsamo vs. Fumar: Balsamo and Fumar fought back and forth. Fast paced match with non-stop action. Fumar tried a frankensteiner from the top rope but Balsamo was able to put his foot on the rope before the three count. Fumar won via fumacity, leg drop from top rope.

3/30/01 - NWF Penn State Fumar Dos (University Park Champion) vs. Fumar [Title Match] Hair vs. Mask: Chairs and latters were used many times in the match. Fumar Dos almost won after exicuting a suplex from the top rope. Fumar won by pinfall and won back his title. Referee Tom pulled off the mask from Fumar Dos to discover it was John Balsamo.

3/30/01 - NWF Penn State Los Hermanos Fumar (Tag Team Champions) vs. Tommy Golden & Mason Cage [Title Match]. Tommy Golden & Mason cage won via pinfall and became the new champions.

3/24/01 - NWF Penn State Los Hermanos Fumar (Tag Team Champions) vs. "Too Phat" Yutzak Arafat (Heavyweight Champion) and Fumar (University Park Champion) in a tag match with all 3 NWF belts on the line, with Fumar lost the University Park Title to Fumar Dos when Fumar Dos used a chair to gain the win and the pinfall.

3/24/01 - NWF Penn State - Los Hermanos Fumar (Tag Team Champions) vs, Partnaz 'n Crime (OGB & DOC): Los Hermanos Fumar won via Fondo de la Roca.

02/24/01 - HoPWF Hagerstown, MD: John Balsamo vs. Hyjinx vs Jerkface Balsamo and Jerface both teamed up on Hyjinx at the beginning of the match. While the two New Yorkers posed to the crowd Hyjinx attacked the both wrestlers from behind. It was every wrestler for himself until Balsamo and the Jerk decided to go for a double closeline on Hyjinx and it backfired when he ducked it and gave one of his own to the two city boys. While Hyjinx was covering Jerkface, Balsamo attacked the referee. Then the both New Yorkers attacked the referee and they both were later DQ'd. Pictures

2/17/01 - NWF Penn State Los Hermanos Fumar(Tag Team Champions) vs. Saints of Sycho: Los Hermanos Fumar won via Fondo de la Roca.

2/17/01 - NWF Championship: Yutzak Arafat (Heavyweight Champion) vs. Fumar vs. Kevin Knight vs. Fumar Dos [Title Match]: Yutzak Arafat won via pinfall on Fumar.

02/10/01 Keyser, WV NWL "The Paisano" John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) w/ Jerkface vs. Gillberg [Title Match]: John "Paisano" Balsamo caught Gillberg with a crossbody tackle off the top rope and Jerkface held Gillberg's feet so he couldn't kick out. John Balsamo got the pin on Gillberg at 11:49. Referee Mike DiMuzio reversed the decision after the audience reveled the interference but John "Paisano" Balsamo retained the NWL Cruiserweight title. 02/01/01 Ft. Detrick, Maryland NWL "The Paisano" John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Flex Fenom [Title Match]: Balsamo was too quick for Flex and after a flurry of moves, Flex bailed out of the ring. The well built challenger soon outsmarted the champion and began an assault of high impact moves. Flex went for a knee drop from the top rope but Balsamo moved out of the way and quickly climbed to the top rope and hit Flex with a flying cross body for the victory. Pictures Pictures

01/26/01 Winchester, VA NWL "The Paisano" John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Gillberg [Title Match]: When Gillburg attempted his Jackhammer finisher, Earl the Pearl came in and cliped Gillberg's knee. OGB came out and saved Gillberg. Gillberg won by DQ so Balsamo retained his title. A return match has been signed between Balsamo and Gillberg for February 10th in Keyser, WV. This match was the NWL/ HoPWF Match of the Week and John "The Paisano" Balsamo was the wrestler of the week for the week of 2/02/01. Pictures Pictures
