01/26/01 Winchester, VA NWL "The Paisano" John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Gillberg [Title Match]: When Gillburg attempted his Jackhammer finisher, Earl the Pearl came in and cliped Gillberg's knee. OGB came out and saved Gillberg. Gillberg won by DQ so Balsamo retained his title. A return match has been signed between Balsamo and Gillberg for February 10th in Keyser, WV. This match was the NWL/ HoPWF Match of the Week and John "The Paisano" Balsamo was the wrestler of the week for the week of 2/02/01.
